OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I know I have mentioned this before, however after watching a replay of the Dogs vs Parra....Galvin is actually getting slower. Burton looks much more dangerous running the ball and can break a tackle, when Galvin takes advantage of a gap in the defense he gets run down immediately.

But isn’t that Rodger guy the best sprint coach in the world?

I think I'm going to take the W from 2 weeks ago and not bag the kid as much.

He's clearly talented and will do good in life. Hating is too tiresome now that I'm older.

My initial hating has been tempered a lot through the continuing observations that his ceiling is an above average NRL level player …not the next coming of Brad Fittler

How has this useless sack of potatoes been called into blues camp whilst terrell is on the outer? Its astounding the pedistol he has been put on. The blurs future halves are Katoa and Strange. Galvin doesn't get a look in.

Because Daley does not like May. Either one for that matter. How many languages does one need to be told in till it sinks in.

another example of an ex tiger kicking on elsewhere...

Its related to types of players they want in opposed sessions and can only pull in those players from teams that have the Bye. Its not an indicator of next up in blues selection.

When i first saw this thread fire up again i thought he may have left the Dogs before June 30 and moved to the Wah's or some other team in the top 4.

If you think May was hard done by, try looking at Jackson Ford, pre-injury.
With Haas in the team you don't need May. For us at the moment he is a solid defender and high minutes medium impact attacker. Haas can cover high minutes if needed and has similar defensive stats with higher attacking impact. Both need to be surrounded by lower minutes higher impact forwards to be truly effective...you don't need both of them in your team. May should have been selected when Haas was out injured. If Benji lowers his minutes, which will allow him to play with a bit more impact than he may get a call up in the future, esp post Laurie Daley. And I agree that Jackson Ford was hard done by and should have been selected. Laurie is a horrible coach.

May has been overlooked two years running. Ford was just this year.
May is not Origin level. What does he have in his game that puts him above your average prop apart from his motor? He’s a good clubman. But that does not make him Origin material.

Go and watch his games for the roosters as impact off the bench.

Play terrell the same minutes we play bunty and watch him have triple the impact.

He is a victim of his fitness here. We need him to play those extended minutes. If we didnt and he played 40 mins a game, he would be the 2nd best prop in the game behind haas.

Edit -- we dont get to see how good terrell is because he plays 70-80 mins a game.

Barnett is the head scratcher for me .. basically May schools him in every stat this year bar the W column

Barnett runs hard, May does not he seems to play for stats with his minutes. Reminds me a lot of how Woods used to play.
Agree benji needs to shorten the minutes like what roosters used to do and we would see a devastating prop
