They will both end up very good players give them 18 months from now let them learn and TDS will play for NSW in 3 years time

Mate ..I was the biggest defender of keeping TDS over extending Api… I didn’t have many friends at that time …

Galvin was better this season and is still young … i still think that he will never be more than an average half given his lack of pace …although perhaps he could attain higher switching to 13…. That remains to be seen and will require him changing up his body a bit

Unfortunately TDS wanted a contract ($650,000 ??) plus wanted a first choice hooker spot in 2026. I think tigers had no issues with keeping him, but not at the cost of API, “very good players in 18 months” for TDS would have been 2028, when api would likely be retired.

He went to Parra to mainly be back up this year, maybe first choice next year but not worth the contract he was asking.

Wish we had kept him but on the tigers offered plan not on his fast track expectations and cost.

I know he is still young but I thought haywood looked way better in just his one nrl game than tds did in any of them.
