OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277

Bullet passes when soft hands are needed
Cannot kick to save his life
Tip ons that arent on
Sideways meters thru the roof
Just playing for himself Im afraid Benji has failed in allowing him to do whatever the hell he wants
Definitely. If they had of identified this last year they could have worked on it this preseason. Instead they talked him up.

It was the first time I saw Galvin play live today .but I didn't realise how slow he is .I'm not a Galvin hater either .I wish him the best for the future

I thank god that he didn't take our offer.

Tucker as much of a Muppet as you can be sometimes you called Galvin from day 1.

Today the storm targeted him like no other team targeted him before and he was defensively exploited like he was a 16 year old in the NRL.

His options with the ball were rubbish.

He's right to leave and get development.. he needs a fk tonne of it.

We just need to get something in return and I am happy for him to go whenever... We aren't going to compete with the big boys at the back end of the year so if we can get someone in return and build around that (centre or backrow) then I'm all for it...

Galvin Out.

P.s. I am by no means saying he was the only player to underperform today... but with all the hype around him, i am happy to point the finger at him in relation to our long term plan.. pack ya bags with mum and dad

Big fan of Latu too, he has the speed off the mark which I think is essential for a pivot.
I still wonder why Galvin wants to leave?
He indicated that it would be a good career move and maybe there’s something to that?
Benji seems to be big on unstructured footy, letting the halves do whatever they want. Perhaps that doesn’t suit Galvin?
Have you been smoking 420 twenty forty 😆

I didn't see the match at all, thankfully. Do you think he is doing a Mitch Moses and tanking ?

Nah i don't think so. He just sucked along with the rest of the team. But his side just got really exposed and they targeted him well. Having Staines play in the centres compounded how bad it was. Honestly storms were just on and we didn't even rock up at all. Can't do that to storms out of all teams. I don't mind Staines but needs to be on the wing. I actually think naden might have been slightly better or even bird. I know bird has been bad the last 2 games but would have been better and would have stopped the leakage better. I hope Toa is back next week. We are a different team with him in it

It’s hard to judge where he is at. Looks like he is a victim of the second year syndrome - players have break out rookie seasons but other teams work them out and they need to develop their games.

Trouble for Lachie is that he is neither fast or has a great kicking game. He can pass but doesn’t play near enough direct and crabs across the field. He needs a lot of development and should go to places like the Storm or Roosters but his price tag will be the issue.

I'm not sure he can pass. He doesn't have soft hands at all, he passes very heavy putting alot of pressure on his outside men

They always get paid the value of their contract not sure the clubs get their value for money from the players.
And that’s why it’s always a load of crap when people argue “ clubs do the same to the players”. The difference being the player ALWAYS gets paid, but the clubs don’t necessarily get a player of equal ability.
