What is the entitlement? I havent seen him display it in an interview, havent seen it come out on the field in an explosive Mitchell Moses type rant at a team mate. How do you know it exists?
As for the contract, he has said he will honour it. The problem is he is not playing well.
I agree with the rest you have said.
Mate, not in an interview but the behaviour in repeatedly seeking releases and (apparently) criticising Marshall’s coaching is what I called entitled behaviour. I’m old school in age and attitude and I don’t appreciate his ‘me first’ approach. Having said that I’m more than happy for him to move on.

Im not talking aout that, Im asking why hasnt management got to the root cause and found a way to co-exist until he leaves?
He had his contract discussion meeting on April 14. Since then we have played in 5 games. A poor loss to the worst side in the comp, a lucky but courageous win v Sharks, a 'terrible win' v Dragons, the Storm shallacking and a loss to Souths with half their team missing.
The group are struggling. Its not just him. If there is a divide, that can be managed. If its everyone v him, he has to go. Either way, its a mess.

I think our new signings may have shifted the team culture, making him feel like a bit of an outsider. Luai, Turuva, and May all seem to get along really well with a few of the boys, especially Api and Bula. I feel like he’s just not part of that main clique, and that could be the simple reason behind it. Once he asked for the release, things probably got worse. His ego seemed to grow with all the media hype (forgetting that he’s still a rookie), so being pushed out of the team’s inner circle wouldn’t have been easy to handle.

Never been in a bored meeting but didnt know there was a full time hooter.
Just thought these things would finish when they finish...whatever the time
I am no expert but when I attend a meeting I generally know an estimated length of time which would depend on the meetings scheduled points that require discussion, but there’s always one clown who thinks their worth is shown by dragging it on until everyone is bored into agreement. Who do you reckon the clown is on our board?. 🤡.

Well it’s definitely not the guy who’s on the board and just took over the HBG and wanted to bring the Magpies back. 🤔

Stiff shit. He made release requests before the cavalry arrived!

I’ve been on numerous boards (still on one) and you can’t put a set time because issues vary between each board meeting.

Spot on mate I did 6 years in a board of a bowling club , most meetings were done by 8.30 pm with a 6 pm start , but some did go past it pending what was on the agenda and how much disagreement may be involved , I think the latest one was about 10 pm , def no full time bell

Again,
He asked for multiple releases before he debuted.
and well before he even met most of those blokes.

Being able to adapt to a changing work environment is pretty much standard in role descriptions now.
