Lame Membership Numbers - Whats the fix?

Well I signed up this morning. Tried to convince my wife that $820 for the family gold at ANZ + Leichhardt membership was good value, but had to compromise for the $250 family gold at ANZ.

The website just did not work, so called and had it all sorted in a matter of minutes. Asked how sales were going and the lady helping me was a bit sheepish in her reply…

Yeh I guess we are….we have a lot of conditional, bandwagon supporters who only show up during the good times

Not really given 2014 membership numbers could break both 2011 and 2012 (high expectations). Around 10-11k each IIRC

I don't know why not having a membership is associated with being a bandwagoner… People might not get them because they can only afford maybe one or two games a year, or they like to spend their money on merchandise instead of going to games. Anyway you'll get the membership spoke with sustained success at any club. That's not just exclusive to WT supporters, that's every Sydney club.

Yeah that was true of the past CB

Probably no reason most can't afford being a non ticketed member for $50 though

If they paid it off during the course of a season it would amount to about $2 a week

Very affordable

A good idea which Ive seen Penrith implement with the help of their major sponsor.

Old jersey buy backs.

Penrith are offering subsidised jersey when you trade in al old Penrith jersy…OAK are gaining more exposure by assisting financially with the discounted new jerseys, and Penrith get more exposure with their old jerseys donated to indigenous programs thru Sydneys west

This could be offered initially to new members signing up and then the general fanbase later on.

Harry T - looking your way

Interesting deal… Jerseys can be up to $150 so i dont know how that would convert into more paying members... What i would like to see is WT fan members (no tickets) be recognised as part of tally.. Shows popularity at least

In regards to the jersey's I think that's a top idea you get more exposure for your major sponsor and people are more likely to buy a jersey if they think they are getting a bargain, I don't know how many old jerseys I have collecting dust.
But with the membership of non ticketed I would have thought they would be counted that's absurd if they aren't IMO should not be a membership as such if your not counted. I myself would only really look at non ticketed purely because I can't tell what I'm doing or where ill be next week let alone in a few 4 or 5 months.

I seem to recall a members seating plan for ANZ being posted a while back (Ink?). I tried to search to no avail, can anybody point me in the right direction , or provide a link?

Thanks in advance.

thanks ink, like your new avatar!

very small area for the jungle.

also it's interesting that the 'other area' is different from 'bronze' as i thought bronze was GA.

Bronze is GA.

"Other" will be reserved seating at reserved prices - walk ups, and possible extra mid season memberships if we exceed expectations

Seems like Grant Mayer is asking the same questions…

Grant …. Welcome to reality.
This is the price the club is paying for poor management, poor results, farcical decisions at board level, high prices, poor service from membership staff and the lack of a marquee signing to promote the club.

Perhaps look inwards before you look to the members for answers.

Yes it is knuckles. the OLD board and OLD CEO's decisions.

that's what mayer and the independent section of the board will try to fix.
