Actually enjoyed the 360 chat tonight. Kent and Hooper made a number of valid points for once (kinda shocked actually) and even went about correcting the narrative. Not sure what Pitt was on about, she was hosed down pretty quickly on her bizarre slant about Madge having to find a way to work with and appease the lemons who won’t perform. Ikin’s comments about Brooks were interesting. As woeful as his form has been this season if he does have Madge’s support and is viewed as part of the solution like it was described then it is hard to imagine him as one of the dissenting voices in the locker room.

Agree with this.
Very reasonable points made about our club and players. Reasoned and without ridiculous emotion. Hope Crawley was watching - prune might learn something

Now I'm just waiting for Madge's extension. The board should give him two years as a power move. Although one year seems more realistic given the current climate. I expect the extension will be announced sometime during the finals series.

Personally don't think Lara was making it up - in fact it sounded as she has heard it directly from a Tigers player.

Anyway, as long as the club is backing Madge this doesn't bother me as the weak and the leakers will be squeezed out.

Yes I agree with Madge extension
It might make some of these sulking players minds up for them
Do as Madge says or leave if you don't like it
Its disgraceful how some of our players are treating the club
They have a job to do and they get paid the big $ to do that
They dont get paid to winge and run to the media complaining

I dont really care what Lara says or thinks,she gets paid to generate gossip and/or a variety of news....
If the board stand by Madge and extend him and let him do his job,then we will all know that culture change is happening big time...
I felt sorry for Sheens,Potter,JT for at least being enthused to do the right thing by the club,but the boys club was alive and well so they were shoved out the door....
Hopefully if Madge lasts we will know that Madge has the full support of all those around him and the boys club has come to an end....finally...

Personally, I'd prefer Madge stick with his style. This club has had players with thin-skin & no mongrel for far too long. If some don't like it, move on. We will find other players who are willing to put the hard yards in & build a winning culture. One that's earnt & not given or expected.

Madges style must be the same as every other coaches.You play well you win the teams intact You lose you my be safe you lose again you might be dropped its not rocket science these guys get paid the win lose or draw how different it would be if they only got paid on results then they could have something to whinge about

There’s 30 guys in the top squad plus 6 development . You don’t have a mortgage on a jersey especially if the team is losing . If your issue is “I did what I was told and got dropped for it” maybe the coach figures you’re best isn’t good enough and wants to blood a youngster .
Winning fixes everything .
It seriously doesn’t surprise me that our best players are our hardest workers . And the ones who are still in good form . And the most loyal to Madge.

I'm surrounded by Broncos supporters and to see them lose the plot is funny - some are at jersey burning stage. But hearing one say to me, a clitoris has over 8000 nerve endings and a WT supporter is still more sensitive, left me speechless.
Couldn't exactly refute it and couldn't laugh at it either.

not trying to toot my own horn but i mentioned this was coming. I had it mentioned that there are some disgruntled dudes at the top. Its created a division in the squad with alot of the younger players silently backing madge. Its our higher profile dudes that are causing the issues.

It’s the higher profile duds that need to pull their collective heads in and start performing on the park. Nothing annoys me more than players who undermine the coach. This is what happens when players are paid more than they deserve.

It’s also no coincidence that the the highest paid players are the ones recruited by IC.

I say good on Madge for ruffling the precious little darlings feathers.

I see where you’re coming from but am not so sure - the Matto incident is in the back of my mind. Player who did exceptionally well last year but wasn’t happy leading to a very public and messy divorce.

I just wonder while some of this may be inaccurately reported, it’s a bit of where there is smoke, there is fire and it’s not just the “discards” fueling it.
