To some extent where there is smoke there is fire. If there is no truth or it is being overblown, it is a result of someone with an agenda.

Its only a problem if the board get the wobblies with media attention.

There is no reason for the Board to get the wobbles, they are not answerable to anyone. It would only come to a head if some major sponsors got nervous about renewing their support.

She's probaby right. But who cares if he's lost them? 2/3rds are rubbish players.

She's most likely right as you've said. Wouldn't miss any of them. Would still like to know who the rat is tho

Well benji works with her and just got punted. Lets start there. Then about a dozen getting told where the door is.

You’re probably right. We seem to have a lot more leaks than other struggling clubs though. All the more reason for a significant clean out.

The sponsors shouldnt have a say either, but the chair??

not trying to toot my own horn but i mentioned this was coming. I had it mentioned that there are some disgruntled dudes at the top. Its created a division in the squad with alot of the younger players silently backing madge. Its our higher profile dudes that are causing the issues.

Well let’s back the younger players and move the others on. It’s pretty obvious who is disgruntled

- benji
- Reynolds
- brooks
- packer

There alone is $2.5m and we are getting zero return. Tell them they will never play first grade with us again and unless you want to play reserves go find yourself another club.

There is a easy solution to all this drama. Extend the coach and tell the players who don’t like to be trained hard and made accountable to find another club. The longer they take to extend Madge the more this drama will build.

How could players not know why they’re being dropped it’s painfully obvious - they’re not playing good enough! Show effort on the field for 80 mins and you won’t be dropped pretty easy

Again it’s concerning that players are running to the media to try and get the coach booted. Hopefully they are out of the club sooner rather than later

First thought too. Grubby stuff.

Personally, I'd prefer Madge stick with his style. This club has had players with thin-skin & no mongrel for far too long. If some don't like it, move on. We will find other players who are willing to put the hard yards in & build a winning culture. One that's earnt & not given or expected.

i know lots on here wont agree with me, but i actually like hooper, he is passionate about us and genuinely cares about the club and always reminds the rest of the panel that it was cleary who put us in this mess..and he backs macquire 110 percent and so does kent actually

Why should fans support the club when the players think they’re above the club and try to get coaches booted all the time because THEY aren’t playing good enough. It seriously pisses me off big time!

So of the players that were dropped - Reynolds, Brooks, Packer, Benji, Garner - anyone confused about why?
Really these guys are kidding themselves. If anything Maguire has given opportunity for the whole squad to cement a position and few have been able to step up - minus the one player we borrowed of course.

It doesn't come as a huge surprise though, the high profile players (let's call them that for arguments sake) are all on massive coin. They're paid to play like Tarzan but on game day play like Jane. They're oxygen thieves as far as I'm concerned.
