Latu hasn't played a full season in the last 4 years.

I don't want to know the extension money being asked, it might make me feel sick.

Benji was a proven game winner before his horror run.
Latu hasn’t done anything of note yet.
It’s a huge gamble, far bigger than Benji was.

But Benji never got injured everytime he went on the ground to play,

Latu does seem to get an injury almost everytime he plays.

The Latu injury now is a stark reminder we need a "Plan C" halfback. [assuming Madden is "Plan B"].
I'm tending now to see Madden as the half and Andrews the 5/8.
Latu is not the reliable [fitness wise] player we need for week to week games.
I also noticed one of his low lifting style tackles. Has not changed his tackling technique.
No doubt Benji and his helpers need to reassess a halfback remedy urgently. Doueihi is not the answer.
