Impressive young winger Sam Latu has been ruled out for at least four weeks with an ankle injury.
Latu damaged ankle ligaments in the 34-30 loss to South Sydney at ANZ Stadium last Saturday night.
The injury was a cruel blow to what was a fine club debut for the Wests Tigers after being called up late into the team following the withdrawal of full-back Wade McKinnon through injury.
Latu became the 139th player to pull on the Wests Tigers jersey since the club's inaugural season in 2000.

The 22-year-old had been training with the Wests Tigers NRL team for the past few weeks after some strong performances for the Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers in the NSW Cup. He had played 20 matches for Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers before being promoted.
It was Latu’s third NRL match after he playing two games for South Sydney under the name of Sam Huihahau in 2008.
