My favorite Brooks moment was when he dropped the ball from the kick off in the Tommy game at Leichhardt.

I knew from that moment he would get player of the year......

He’s not in the top 5-6 halves in the Comp. But we’ve had rubbish forwards his whole career. I just know that a halfbacks job relies on momentum more than most would understand.

Brooks was atrocious this year but Laurie was great. Personally I think it should have been shared between Stefano and Laurie with AD close to our best as well.

I think he’d do fine at any strong club. Not world beater but adequate.
