I know alot around these parts wont be sad if laurie leaves, but i for one would love to se him fight for his place and build into the talent he could be.

WESTS Tigers missed out on Lote Tuqiri yesterday - and they could be without another dreadlocked crowd favourite next season.
>
It's understood Tigers officials will meet with Daine Laurie's representatives next week to discuss whether the enigmatic giant sees out the final year of his contract. Laurie has been frustrated at his lack of chances in first grade, but he hasn't helped his own cause by missing training.
>
There will be no shortage of suitors should Laurie be granted a release.

Doesn't seem to be definite just yet…

Ive heard around the traps as well that Laurie is not 100% happy at the tigers. His management are going to meet tigers management to see what the future holds for the big fella.Im sure the powers at be will convince him to at least see out his contract which ends next season. At the end of the day it's up to Laurie to prove himself the tigers owe him nothing & im sure he will see the light
