3 according to the stats, I don't think that includes the one tonight.
I think it hard to play with confidence in a team getting beaten. He still has some growing to do and a lot to learn.

He is young and has a lot to learn,it he was still at the panfers he would still be learning where he should be(Reggies). With us he doesnt have that luxury and is trying to make a fist of it the hardest way possible(behind a team that at best is inconsistent and at worst deplorable).
Like nearly all young players he needs at least a couple of years to develop his game to NRL level on a consistent basis

I think the forum overrates him tbh. He’s not in the class of Walsh and Walker, he’s a good rung below that calibre.

I think Laurie is really good but he isn't a star in that class and he'd be low on the pecking order in relation to top fullbacks in the game.

He is a keeper though. He creates something at fullback and he could do it in the halves as well.

What makes you think anyone missed Walsh?It is quite possible he knocked clubs back to develop his game in the relative obscurity of the Warriors instead of an Australian club where he has far more chance of being thrust into the spotlight prematurely.

Well he is a Kiwi. If I had to hazard a guess, I’d say he has family back home. Still a bad look for Brisbane to let him go. You go above and beyond to keep a kid like that happy. Bring his family over if that’s the issue. Could end up worse than the Cowboys letting Ponga go.
