Lawrence at five-eighth?

Lawrence cannot pass the ball in traffic….hes trying to be a ball player but he turns into a netballer....all the overhead lobbing passes theyre not working

Humble has busted his arse and is rewarded with this. Seems the more you try at the tigers the worse off you are.

Lawrance was awful and every time hes played there he has been rubbish.

Why was Humble dropped?

Surely Sheens isnt blaming him for last weeks debacle? Lawrence is not a 5/8 and never will be. Benji is not a halfback AND NEVER WILL BE!

No way he can't persevere with Miller or Humble and instead go for lawrence 6, benji 7 LOL.

No way!!!

Surely he will go with Miller or Humble.

Right? Man I am so worried.

We really need a halfback…... We were really banking one Robert Lui......

True benji is not a 7 and Lawrence is not a 6 and never will be.......

I think sheens is really clutching at straws here.

The only thing Sheens achieved with this ridiculous move is that it probably cruelled any chance Lawrence had for an Origin spot :imp:

dumb move before the game and what a shocker, still a dumb move after.

Say hello to '07-'09 again at this stage.

He should have stuck with Humble or given Miller a proper go.

What do people watch?
Marshalls at 1st reciever at least half the time in almost all the games….hello?!?!???...thats halfback

Tigers officials would not confirm the positional changes.

I wonder what the club think of this so-called news being leaked

Marshall might get the ball a 1st receiver sometimes but is not playing the halfback roll. As for who is playing halfback i don't know and neither does the team, i don't think we have one, maybe Robbie who knows!

I think if Tim wants to me a more effective use of Rowdy he should perhaps consider him for the back row. I think that move may have merit albeit for the future. Reasons as to why:

1)Rowdy defends on the edge now. Normally one outside the backrowers. So he would have no defensive issues
2)Is very effective one-on-one.
3)He hits like a sledge hammer
4)He is 100+ kilos
5)Is one of the best line/hole runners in the competition
6)Has enough ball playing skills to be considered a ball playing back rower (not a 5/8 though)
7)He would get his hands on the ball more often
8)His body shape is looking more like a forward

With Gareth leaving, this mightn't be a bad idea. I see him developing into a Luke Lewis type of player. We also have some exciting youngsters on the way up (Noafulma, Sironen etc) that are already pushing for selection that could be considered as backline replacements.

Lawrence to lock is a good idea as well. I just think even though he is a great centre we can get more out of him.
