It all comes back to his hip injury..... his foot doesn’t come within coo-ee of the ball.

It’s true. People who have used him as their punching bag over the years forget that. Either out of convienicnce or ignorance. Sky was the limit pre injury. He could hit a hole as good as anyone that’s ever played the game. Sadly, a big part of him as a footballer died that night. And what’s most sad about it is that the injury happened in the last 2 minutes when the game was already won. A total waste.

It's complete BS that he cant touch the ball with his foot. In saying that, I've never really taken notice of his play the balls. I think if he was asked, then he'd laugh. He was awful as a centre for years after the injury and I wanted him gone. Not because I didn't like the guy, but he simply wasn't any good in that position and that's where he stayed. Since his move to the forwards, he's been terrific. But suggesting that his movement is that limited is crazy. If he touches it once, the theory is blown out of the water.

He copped an unrelenting and undeserved barrage on here. He was criticised for his contract, a contract he signed when he was one of the best centres in the game. His contract value wasn't unreasonable at the time of signing and he was injured horribly while representing our club, the club many of his critics professed to love. He then restructure his deal and took a massive pay cut and people still bashed him. He has given our club so much I'm happy for him to decide when he has had enough and I'm happy for him to have a place in our squad until that time. It's not like he costs us any of our limited salary cap!

He may drop the odd ball, but what he has given this club can never be denied. The only highlight of the Raiders game was the sound from the crowd when he made his return. He may still have some knockers on here, but he is absolutely loved by the general fan base!
