wests tigers have also entered the running to sign goal kicking winger michael gordon as well

Any actual details on this? Are we chasing hard? Likely or unlikely to sign him?

dunno mate, all i know is they are preparing an offer to him

and ink… lawrence contract negotiations have been going on for a while it is old news, im just letting people know that the deal has been done and hes extended for another 3 years.

Is it just your personal goal to hate on every post i make?

Five days ago Rabs said on 9 humphreys told him theyre looking to extend Lawrence…old news.

In fairness this is specific information and applies to more than just one player.

I understand Gordon also has solid interest from the Sharks, so the Tigers won't have it all their own way in regards to chasing him.

sharks are probably the favorite but if we table a good offer he may come, we have signed some panthers players before and we are a competitive team maybe that will sway him as opposed to 20k extra or so he will get at the sharks and being in a team where he wont see much ball

I think you will find that Rabs said that the Tigers "SHOULD" sign him to an extension…not that they are going to. I clearly remember this....well until someone finds the replay and proves me wrong haha

This isnt bias but i would take less money to play with the tigers rather than the sharks. The sharks have no chance at all if winning a premiership any time soon and could be facing the chop due to their financial situation

Yes agreed

and its only going to get worse at sharks

It would be a potential career killer

I don't know about Ink,but I love your work, and I usually agree with most things you post, hope your right on this one, that would really pee off the Souths supporters.

i cant see gordon choosing the sharks over us…. but the way panthers are going... i dont think he will leave them

The Panthers have withdrawn their offer to Gordon at this stage because they want Inglis. As long as they are in the running to sign Inglis, Gordon will have to look for a new club.

If all of the above is true next years backline best case scenario
1 Lotte
2 flash Gordon/ryan
3 lawrence
4 moltzen/ryan/aysford
5 tnt
6 brnji
7 lui/moltzen
I really think Gordon would be great, but a desperate club like the Sharks might have more dollars to throw his way. Anyway will be interesting if daniela continues to go well,McKinnon regains some form and tomato gets a crack at the big time and shines. Certainly look in better shape than some teams

Would all be good

not sure about Micheal Gorden seems a bit pointless

He's got plenty of points in him, so hardly pointless

Agreed. He is actually the leading point scorer so far this year. Even 10% clear of Soward at number 2.

if we resign tuiaki whats the point of signing gordon ?

Options, plus it's not guaranteed that Tuiaki will stay on the wing. Sheens has hinted previously that a move into the backrow is not out of the question for Tuiaki as he gets older and if he was to lose pace due to his ankle.

And the Tigers are no certainties to get Gordon.

its clear he would rather play alongside john morris and his ball playing :master: ability rather than marshal :brick: !! HAHA

this sums up the fact that tui may not play wing again, buying on fit winger, and resigning once apon a time great winger with a busted ankle. tui will play centre or second row next year! his signing will be on the basis of loyalty!
Lawrence signing is huge! i can only imagine how many clubs would b after him!when he's on, tiger's are on..his try on friday night was AMAZING!
