What do you mean wasn't 100% sure….Have you seen a contract extention announcement for Lawrence

He is under contact till 2011 and is a gun....New TV deal coming through.....Blokes like Lawrence will have offers coming from everywhere...
 
What happened to Ron, was he really kicked off the board? The guy was great entertainment, though sometimes way off the mark with his statements.

mabe chris's constant disrespect of the well liked lovable hero and inability to let go of rons forum wide popularity was the last straw for ron i would say.
 
How was he right about Tuiaki? He only signed for 1 year not 2 like Ron suggested and he re-signed months and months later.

i thought it was 1 year with a second in the clubs favor? if they didnt do a second year in the clubs favor its poor management IMO… can you post the date tuiaki re-signed?
 
seems like you and this ron had a few run ins?? what is the history with that? from the posts ive read through this and the tuquiri thread you seem to have it in for him badly.
 
tuiakis signing was announce on the 20th august… yeah it was a few months later lol...doesnt mean it wasnt done before hand...alot of contracts are done well before they are announced though bar a few minor details and also shubert has to fine tooth comb them... there is every chance the tuiaki deal was done 1 maybe 2 months before being official...

as for lawrence well...he was way off to say the least lol
 
Yeah Lawrence probably signed on again in June but they need to iron out a few minor details.

perhaps they are waiting for round 1 or pre season trials just to build some more hype to the signings….
"rewarded for his off season efforts with a new contract"....or something like that...
 
Leave Ron Burgandy alone! He has been right about alot of things. It's not like you people are right 100% of the time. He was obviously getting info from someone. It's not his fault if the some of the info was wrong or if the club changed their minds about something. The forum is poorer without the character, Ron Burgundy.
