Thoughts on lawrence moving to fb,?has had little ball all year, with inglis's move back to fb being a revelation i think this is what chris and the tigers could need, plenty of pace and speed,we need to get him more involved?

Meh , I think he is better suited to centre , Moltz is a great fullback

I'm guessing you didn't watch the Broncos game!

..Obviously I'm kidding as he was great the back end of last year. He just needs some confidence.

As to Lawrence at FB, that would not do Moltzen any good to his confidence. Other than that though it would be a good move I believe.

Chris spent most of the Brisbane game running yardage like a 'bash-up' prop. What's going on? He used to be one of the fastest and deadliest attacking weapons in the NRL.

I approve of the idea of the move to fullback. I think he could handle the bombs and the defence. He is very strong now. His speed would enable him to run us back into better field position to start a set of six.

I like Tim Moltzen, but we have given him a million chances. He should go to the bench as an impact attacker. Lawrence to fb and Reddy to centre.

I don't mind the idea, but I don't think it's our problem right now, he is a quality centre and I like moltzens inside runs from a no look Marshall ball, gets them a lot! Moltzen just needs a week off to relax and get his head right.

Not fit enough IMO. Shows bugger all urgency in turning and chasing at the moment when he's beaten.

I would of liked to of seen Chris at the back next year but i agree with OP look at what it has done for Morris and GI!! Will give him alot more space which he isnt getting at the moment with our lack of go forward out in the centres. Could be a master stroke from Sheens if he was shifted there asap, would give us all a chance to see if it is his form or if he is just not receiving quality ball :/

Played all of his junior years there. Is fast ,can tackle and has played enough with Benji and Robbie to know who to run off. Inglis has done it confident that Chris would be excellent.Moltz back to 7 and stay there till he perfects his craft…..

He is lost at the moment - the backline is just not standing deep enough.
The rare occasions they do they still look dangerous.
Don't know if moving him is the answer as it's his timing that is off.
Should have caught the pass from Marshall and got first try against the Broncos but wasn't switched on.
Last year he would have pulled that ball in even if he did think it was meant for Tuquiri and strolled over.

that is the problem at our club no player knows what position they are so far this year weve had : Moltzen started halfback now fullback, Reddy started the year on the bench to wing to centre, Ayshford started centre , wing to bench , Fulton 2nd row to hooker, Sheens has got that many utilities that he doesn't know where to play them. The trials is the the time for trialling players in position not during the opening 6 rounds . Lawrence is a centre , hes defence has been non exsistence.

Lawrence stays at centre.

Ryan to fullback and Moltzen back to half. Find some kid in the 20's or in State Cup to play on the wing. Seriously, wingers grow on trees, surely we have someone….

Lawry is one of the fittest at the club. It's a move that should have happened 3 years ago. He is the best fullback at the club.
