I'm sick of people coming on here refusing to put a name to their posts. He had a crack at you but under the cover of anonymous. It annoys me

I have said it before and get bagged for it. However, he should seriously consider retirement. He has lost everything and is just embarrassing himself.

The problem with him is that he's under contract for 2 more yrs. Whose going to want to take him if we try and offload him?

Would you willingly give up 350K a yr?

I believe that being dropped basically to Reserve grade permanently maybe with the odd game (a long shot) could high lite the fact that retirement or a move to ESL would be an option .But NRL has past him by unfortunately a tap on the shoulder should not be far off.!

Whilst we have Lawrence and Anasta in the team we are no hope of making the eight. Lawrence hasn't fulfilled his potential and his best days are behind him, Simona has to be starting centre. Blake Austin is killing it in state cup and needs to be given a chance, Anasta has to go into retirement and start worrying about fatherhood. In a game like today's against the warriors you expect your experienced players to step up and they didn't. Farah needs to have a good hard look at himself as captain and needs to lead from the front. The best players in this comp want to win at all costs and our guys need to be like that and then we will be a chance

Anasta may be getting on in years, but I don't think he deserves to be dropped based on what I've seen this year. He doesn't make the big plays, but he's a good foil for Brooks and his experience is invaluable at times, and the try he scored today showed that. He is also a better defender than Austin, which we'll need with games against Manly and the Roosters coming up.

I've been waiting for the chris lawrence of old to return but he's just not there. The guy from 2009/2010 & 2011 does not live here anymore. Pity we are paying him $350k a year for the privilage.

It hurts me to say this but ATM the game just seems to have gone past him.

Drop him to NSW Cup….he can then decide if he has anything to offer or he can piss of to ESL.

yeh, i keep waiting, waiting… the longer it goes without him starting to regain his old self, the less likely it seems it will happen.

ill never lose hope that he can get back until he is too old, but it really seems his body is too old already.

Benji ended up in Rugby even if he still had a year or two left on his contract. I can't understand why this argument comes up about 2 years left on Lawrence's contract when we didn't seem to worry about it with Benji.

Because someone was willing to take him. Whose going to want to take Lawrence in his condition?

Lawrence should not embarrass himself anymore. He should just quit. He is an old man in a young man's game. He is too slow.Perhaps he hasn't fully recovered, if that is the case, he shouldn't be playing in the NRL.

he was going fine until he went to the wing, he is not a winger.
Richards also struggled at fullback

Yeah I don't get the hate today for Rowdy. He got shifted to wing and had to defend inside Brooks, Hurrell had a field day.

Rowdy knocks one, Nofo knocks one, Richards knocks one, Keithy misses a tackle, Bodene misses a tackle… everyone had one dumb error today and Warriors made us pay.

We are not going to beat a dominant side switching winger to FB, centre to wing and having a backrower in the centres. Tedesco going off killed us today, we lost our way.

Look can anyone tell me this

When has Rowdy been in a situation in 2014 where you could judge his speed ??

Until I see him in a situation where I can make a clear judgement on this I'll make my view known

But remember he hasn't played wing since 2008 if memory serves and had a part time centre along side him today

Given the choice of Lulia over Lawrence I'll take Lawrence still (at this stage )

I agree with this. Its still too early to judge Lawrence. He isn't though a player like Nofo who can create something out of half a gap. He shouldn't be taking up too much salary cap.

We do though need some more speed and explosiveness in our outside backs. Teddy gives us heaps and that covers us to a degree but Richards is slow as anything and if he plays every game because he offers a great all round kicking game then we need players like Nofo and Koro out there as well as Tedesco. Lawrence needs to do more.
