Lawrence

It really improved our team last year when he shifted into the backrow. With an off season and a few games under his belt he is really starting to grow in confidence. Well done champ.

I thought he was a standout tonight did everything right and little wrong. He has made a good move to the forwards will be more than happy to see him on an extended contact of 300-350.Wonderful club man and seems a great person as well

Wow, the last 3 games are certainly the best in his carrier so far, what is even more important he improves every game  Today he was again looking for the ball, and on number of runs he threatened to break the line, our best 2nd rower, 106 m from 13 runs, 21 tackles, 0 MT

Wow Wee he was bloody awesome tonight.

Ran hard and straight and bent the line every single time.

Well done Chris.

I have been a big critic, but if he keeps this up he is a must to keep.

He was great tonight and took some tough carries as well (early in the count and stuff)

On form he is going as well as any forward in the comp.

I feel that is deficiencies in the Centres were overstated in the first place, but his move to the forwards has been a very good one.

Good winger
Just above average Centre
Potentially very good back rower.

Played awesome.

Very Luke Lewis… simular progression.
Lewis had his best years at the Panthers when he switch to the back row in about 2009, after starting for them on the wing in 2001\. that's some 1st grade career.

Yes very similar and if he can have the impacts Lewis did we will be looking very good.

He was fantastic.

Runs hard and straight but not too straight - seems tovhave a nice little step in him that gets him in between the defenders, and hence some very quick play the balls. Very good.

When it was centre on centre, he was no match for speed. But he is so much quicker than the other forwards he's able to poke his head through the line and get us on the front foot. He runs the ball so hard and solid in D.

I still reckon he is quicker off the mark this year than last year , playing well , working hard

Hope you can get through at least 24 games this season

Ran some great lines tonight and nearly burst through the line several times. Sue also threatened with the ball in hand and I'm really liking Rowdy's move to the backrow. Didn't miss a tackle tonight either.

I agree, it was the intelligence of his runs as much as the vigour with which he ran. Lawrence and Grant both made good metres by selectively attacking holes left by a retreating Manly defence.

And then to much admiration, Lawrence starts not just attacking holes but punching through tackles for quick PTB. I did not keep count, but I am sure several of our penalties and down-field marches came off select Lawrence runs with quick PTB.

Very happy with the forwards. Agreed, Lawrence had a blinder. As did Woods and Grant. …What a bargain Grant is turning out to be.

watched the game by myself so had no one to discuss the best player performance.
You're lucky. I was watching it alone and yelling "go tigers" etc ..my wife noticed how much I was loving it and want to join me. Then she started asking stupid questions like is Lyon a Tiger? I had to tell her to go away , cause this is serious stuff.

I watched the game at the local RSL the whole bar was going for the Tigers, most were not Tigers supporters they just Hate Manly it was great.
