And yes Hobb's MWZ batted the ball back in..
Well I'm not going to retract my recent statements am I !
He was garage against the Broncos…period
lawrence is obviously a fan favourite amoungst the older fan base !
We on here are a minute portion of the Wests Tigers fan base .. Open your eyes and see what the rest of the world are saying !
And before you waffle on ( as usual )
In regards to him being selected each week ...

Yet again the Beast is Mikaele , not MCK
Yeah right … When MCK went on we lifted
When he was subbed for Zelezniak we went backwards
Bad move from the coach mate
Wasn’t it MWZ who got the ball back for us from over the sideline that lead to Brooks kicking the equalizing field goal?
@ said:Chris always gives his best in games, as does Kev and I dare say both of them are great for team morale, on and off the field. Unfortunately, both of them lack the effectiveness we need in their respective positions in the starting side. Without due respect to them both, we simply need more impact in the second row and centre!

He wasnt the only one. Masters nofo aloiai all played average.
@ said:@ said:@ said:@ said:Masters cannot kick.

He may kick em at training but u can see his craping himself kicking at game
We need a kicker asap.
Yeah but he's not the first-choice kicker. How many backups at clubs are kicking are 80%
Yeah but how many clubs have had goal kicking mentors like jason Taylor , Brett Hodgson and Ivan Cleary to learn from only to continually suck at slotting goals !
100%:agree, it cost us 2 points on friday, and with our attack we need to kick at a higher percentage or it will cost us again. Benji surely kicks better than Marsters

Oh! you don't want to take in any realities like that - it's all about the "Mighty Beast"
If the "Mighty Beast" hadn't have gone off - he would have won the game on his own.
@ said:Most of us are saying the same things. Lawrence is a champion bloke, a true professional and a fine example and leader for the younger players to follow. Also, before the hip injury, he was pure lightning with the ball and a try scoring machine. He will be remembered fondly for all these attributes and achievements. However, many of us feel that the team can do better if it replaces him with someone who is a more damaging runner, has better hands and can add more mongrel to our attack. The truth is that, despite making occasional hard hits in defense and running great decoys in offense, his regular handling errors are a liability to the team. Most of us are really not gunning for Chris when we say that he is not genuine, first grade back rower material. We already have hardworking toilers such as Eisenhuth, Rochow and Taylor and don't need any more, especially when they drop the ball regularly. What we do need is someone who can bend the line and for that reason I think he should be replaced by Sue, Felise or young Garner in ISP. Having said all this, it's clear that Ivan believes in Lawrence and intends to persevere with him. Like a few others, I am over the constant Rowdy bashing threads. **Most of us** want Chris gone but it's up to the coach. End of story.

“Most of us?” How many people did you survey? You missed me. Put me down for a no.

Here comes another one…......
@ said:@ said:Not Lawrence's best game, certainly not. He was good the previous two weeks.
Can I please also see the threads to cover the dropped balls from Thompson, Nofo and Aloiai, the missed tackles from Rochow, the bad passes from Brooks and Benji.
How is that the same? Lawrence had 3 drops from 7 runs. How is that the same as Thompson who dropped 1 ball.
In relation to the penalty in the 77th or so, the boys needed to be extra careful their. It was a criminal time to give it away.
@ said:Lawrence if well managed still has plenty to offer. He is as sort of guy who should be sent off to a tropical island once a month. He is the soul of the club with plenty of ability, but his body needs lots of well managed care…and we have the depth to do it
