Lead Up to Round 15

Just looking ahead i think we have the opportunity to head in to Round 15 well and truly entrenched in the top4 - Our next 3 games are Bulldogs at SFS, Panthers at Cua and Roosters at Campbelltown followed by a bye - we could conceivably win or lose all 3 but should beat the Bulldogs and Roosters at home - with the bye this would give us 14 points at round 9 - rounds 10 to 13 are Rabbits at SCG, Knights at Energy Aust, Warriors at Leichhardt and Bulldogs at ANZ followed by a bye - if we can win 2 of those games plus the bye will have us on 20 points and 12 rounds remaining - injuries will make this a bit harder to achieve but i believe if we play consistently we could do it.

Given current form, I would expect the Tigers to have a pretty good chance beating the Dogs twice, the Roosters, Knights and Warriors. The Bunnies and Panthers will be tough games, especially the Panthers who we seem to struggle against. Fortunately we will have Lui back in a couple of weeks and maybe, given more of a chance, he'll step up to the plate.

The simple fact is that on current form, the Dragons, the Storm and the Tigers (plus the Titans with Scott Prince) are a long way out in front of the rest of the comp in form and class.

This says something about the current form of the Tigers and it says a lot about the current form of all the other teams in the comp.

Outside those three other teams, the Tigers should, on form be capable of beating any team in the comp.

Of course, injuries and poor form can strike at any time. That's why I don't see too much point in looking ahead at upcoming matches. If I had to predict now I'd say we'll beat all of those teams. But the nature of rugby league is such that even the best teams drop games over the season…

We always seem to find New ways of losing against less fancied teams in particular the panthers…

Heres hoping your right.

the big question is can the tigers step up to the next level, yes i know we are 4-1 but its not like we had 4 awesome wins where we smashed the inform top 8 teams(well besides manly but we lucky we got them when we did)
signs are there that we can step up but there is a long way to go yet and our forward must start going forward on a weekley basis
