Least favorite player in the top squad

Disgraceful thread.

CHEERS FOR THE CONTRIBUTION.
VERY INSIGHTFUL POST.

IT'S GOOD TO SEE SOME OF YOU CAN PLAY ALONG,
SHOUT OUT TO USERS: ORIGINAL MAGPIE, TIGERSMURF, TIGERSEAN, KINGOVKINGS & MARSHALL MAGIC.

Terrible thread. All the fellas are brilliant!

The only Tiger I don't like seeing run onto the field each week is the ground announcer. Same routine, over and over and over and over….

There has to be one you see and feel like Mehhh, he's OK.
Compared to the ones you think are awesome, has to be a lesser favorite.
OF COURSE, lol.

haha. Yeah, there is demps. Just the way I feel, I just think naming someone like that goes against the grain of being a supporter. I never agreed with Fitzy being picked last year, but I wouldn't ever badge him as being my 'least favorite'.

I know I've harped on about the ground announcer before on the forum. But the bloke turned up to the trial with the same routine again! Seriously, he's had 5 months to spice it up just a little! We would be some much better to put on one of Bonstonkers or NZTigers vids to fire up the crowd!

Utai will becomee the next fitzhenry..
He's my least favourite player. And finding out he got picked o nthe wing to play vs the roosters makes it worse.

if he is only going to be used due to a stack of injuries/suspension as previously stated by management and the coaching staff then, then why is he getting a starting spot in one of the few trials we have?
the hit out would be better for a player who is going to be playing there during the season more regularly to build up some combinations.

I have a feeling tho that once Utai cracks it into the top grade whether it be starting or off the bench we won't be seeing him dropped any time soon after that..

Yeah feel for the up and comers who have put in the hard yards in the pre season and probably told by sheens [marshall] they will get their chance to shine in the trials .. then they go buy this old dinosaur ..

This thread would have been really interesting in the days where we had guys that were genuinely disliked by many. How could you choose between Senter, Hill, Field, Hopoate, etc? But these days its hard to find one guy from the current sqaud you'd dislike. Something about Dwyer annoys me sometimes, but i have no idea what it is. I think it might be his play that gave the Roosters 6 more tackles after we had them trapped in their half on the last tackle…...they went on to score and the game changed from there....i was filthy because it was such a simple mistake that should never have been made........hmmmm, maybe thats it.

I am absolutely going to get smashed for saying this, but meh it's about my opinion.

On field I reckon Todd Payten is my least favourite tiger. Sometimes he doesn't seem interested to play, and now getting older his body doesn't hold up either. People say he is a halfback in a prop's body etc. but to me he isn't good enough to be either. I agree he has a very very smart footy brain and would go onto become a good coach but as a player, he doesn't really gain many metres or tackles or anything.

In saying that, I do respect him for all the charge downs he did against the Chooks but yeh I just don't seem to like him. I even tried watching Bon's video of Payten but even that doesn't make me like him :frowning:

Are you kidding KS? Senter was a toiler who gave his all in a team that really was out of it's depth.

I was sort of referring to how he was hated by other teams. But you have to admit, he had a very annoying head on him the way he carried on sometimes. But glad he was on our team.

Oh look he was prone to brain explosions, I will admit that. I thought you were insinuating he was a jerk and I thought it was harsh to lump him in with notorious wage and oxygen thieves like Hopoate, Field and Hill…

Apologies.

I came around to Senter, he ended up being one of my fave players

On topic, Ayshford annoys me, hes coming along well as a centre imo, but the way he ignores his winger more often than not gives me the shits

Least favorite player personally (only including those who i've met, otherwise it's unfair):
**Darren Senter:** fresh out of highschool working in a bar, Senter decided to throw a bit of personal abuse at me for no reason. Yeah, he was drunk but the memory stuck.

the rest have all be very nice and polite.

Least favorite player for being a WT player:
**Corey Payne:** a pillow in the highest order. By all reports he's charming and very intelligent, but he sucks as a forward.

LOL

I'll go with Ashyford for the same reason.

Many a try has been butchered by him not passing. :brick:

In all other respects he is strong and a pretty good centre.

Corey Payne maybe struggled as a forward, but he smacked Ben Te'o out so he's alright by me.
