Lee & JP finally lose the confidence of the Board??

You 3,4,5 have never proposed/outlined any plan other than the criitisize, so any plan is better than no plan.
I’ll take Benji’s plan well ahead of 5 forum critics who have never offered any better solutions.
I’ll propose you a plan .
Replace the entire Holman Barnes group board delegates (4)as most have been on the board of wests tigers for 10 plus years . John Dorsey stays as he was only elected this year .
John Coates and Barry O’Farrell are the 2 independent delegates .
I believe Danny Stapleton is the Balmain delegate , and is heavily involved in the recruitment and retention team , being the board delegate . IMO , the last 2 years have been pretty good in this department , so I’m not actually displeased with his performance if that’s his function .
I’d be looking to punt Pascoe , and looking for a CEO who has vision , and bold strategies , but also a proven track record of proving it . I would look far and wide , and pay the right candidate what they’re worth .
As for lee , I would retain him on a year to year basis . IMO I don’t think he’s the problem outside of he can’t shut his mouth.
I would put in checks and balances around all governance and KPIs for all employees that genuinely track performance and up skill under performing employees ( IM looking at you Media Manager and the social media team, as well as the procurement team) .
I’d put a GM in place , Cheika might be ideal , one who can negotiate ,run point between the governance team , and most importantly delegate , as recruitment is sorted through Fulton and the football team should be better coached with Johnny Cronk and Benji .
I think generally that’s probably what will happen . As the biggest issue in this club is hubris , arrogance and entitlement at the governance level .
You can see that through lees quotes the real estate agents quotes and arse covering going on at the wests tigers board level .
If your number one priority is you , and not the club , then see you later . If both those things align , fine , but they’re in direct conflict for most of those guys now , hence the review and hence this conversation .
Anybody still clinging to the party line , is either just zigging to the hive mind zag , just because , or is a shill for the board members in some way(family member , friend , employee etc) .
It’s not personal , and I personally come to this conclusion after years of defending the club , and having faith that personnel choices would Heed results . And they haven’t , so I guess it will be a case of “the king is dead , long live the king” .

Anyway, it involves signing up 13 Balmain housewives who al live next door to other women who like to party. They couldn’t do any worse??
12 of those housewives signed with manly and the other one wants 1.4 million but is carrying an injury.

I’m starting g t think that Lee might be an issue and if anyone has to go it might have to be him, but that’s just based on rumour.

Three important points to remember …

Isn’t it a good thing there is a review underway whether 100% independent or partially?

It will produce recommendations but ultimately which recommendations are implemented will be up to the Board so I’m sure some & not all recomms will be implemented.

The Podcast crew led a petition for a review into the Club. It is HBG that determined to initiate the review given the results of the petition.
 
If the 'review' finds the board members are crap, are they going to stand down.
The review might find that some of their systems and procedures can be brought up to standard so that they are no longer failing each and every year. Or it might find they’re just dead shits.

I'd prefer to leave that to someone with the appropriate education, qualifications and experience as an administrator of a sporting organization.
I'm just a humble know nothing supporter.

The NRL funds all the players salaries and about $3m on top,,, so it would be hard even for the Tigers to be losing money these days,,

It’s been reported in recent years the football team has made money
 
And likewise if the review finds we have far too many fans that are constantly negative which is having an adverse effect on the club, can these fans please stand down ?

God forbid that a review would interfere with the smooth process of achieving a wooden spoon three peat!!! You might be right though, I can imagine that a review, with its implication of change and regeneration might stem the flow of elite players and their managers currently swamping Concord on the proviso that nothing changes and we maintain the status quo..you might be onto something......

I just find it ludicrous to think the people that initiated the review ie. the board could be the ones that are found to be incompetent. What will change - nothing.

The podcasters and organisers of the petition have perpetrated a fraud on all the people that signed the petition.
They were asked to sign a petition for an independent review and what has been delivered is a review by a person with existing connections and prejudices .

THAT WAS NOT WHAT THE PETITION PROPOSED. IT WAS A DELIBERATE FRAUD AND LIE.

The review is a fraud based on a lie perpetrated with malice with their own self promotion in mind.

It has been weaponised by a board member and the casualties are we the real fans. This is evident in ALL the media reports about how this is being conducted.

All this destruction to PROMOTE a podcast that has less listeners than my dog has balls.
