Lee & JP finally lose the confidence of the Board??

The review should've been conducted by a Peter Parr type of person.
Someone who has a history as an administrator and knows the right questions to ask.

Former CFO at the NRL would have a pretty good grasp on how competent clubs are being run.

I'd prefer to leave that to someone with the appropriate education, qualifications and experience as an administrator of a sporting organization.
I'm just a humble know nothing supporter.
That's been my whole point all along.
Why the experience with a sporting organisation?
That’s one thing I don’t understand about nrl clubs? Why do they think in a narrow tunnel like that? That they can only get better by copying a more successful nrl club?
There are people who specialise in solving these problems, because for the most part they are human behavioural and have little to do with playing football or making cardboard cartons, or manufacturing vehicle parts etc.
Wouldnt you agree?

I think you need some of both. At the moment we have a guy who can sell legal services well but he can’t get out of his own way in rugby league. Sport is so different to business because it’s largely unregulated.

I'm interested to know if you've contacted Benji by phone, email, fav, Instagram or carrier pigeon to explain why you've chosen to sabotage his first year and probably the next 4 years of his coaching the club.
It would be the manly thing to do.
Technically this will be Benji’s second year as head coach but the club didn’t have the balls to admit it.

Are you basing this on opinion?

Not at all. 100% fact, reported annually
The NRL funds all the players salaries and about $3m on top,,, so it would be hard even for the Tigers to be losing money these days,,

It’s been reported in recent years the football team has made money
The Wests Tigers are not WA/HBG. Every year WA/HBG provides a grant to WT. In 2022 it was $1,747,718.00. $0.00 comes back the other way. Wests Tigers are a net loss to WA/HBG and they need to be legally otherwise they would lose their valuable Club tax status.
