Lee & JP finally lose the confidence of the Board??

We are going backwards every year.
That depends on whether or not you want to disregard the positives and the groundwork that has been put in place to hopefully see massive improvement within a couple of seasons.
The Wests Tigers are born from 2 great working class clubs in the Balmain Tigers and Western Suburbs Magpies.
Those 2 great clubs were known for being staunch, sticking together and not back stabbing each other when times were tough.

What are the positives of back to back wooden spoons?

Being one of the only teams to beat the Panthers with a fit and healthy Nathan Cleary playing.
Flogging the Cowboys and showing a glimpse of what the side is capable of when they put it together.
Hanging tough and being robbed by atrocious refereeing decisions on at least another handful of games.
The emergence of a natural leader who pours his heart & soul into every time he wears the Wests Tigers jersey.
The emergence of many young rising stars under the age of 25.
The continued success of many of our much younger unproven emerging players who dominated at junior rep levels. The way Galvin dominated the junior rep scene has not been seen since the days of Steeling, Alexander and Fittler.
When was the last time any 17y.o stood out playing in the halves at NSW Cup level the same way Latu Fainu did for Manly (Blacktown Workers) a handful of times this season ?
We signed him, his brother and another young star yet to touch the surface in demonstrating the talent he possesses in Jayden Sullivan when all the doomsayers claimed nobody with any talent would sign with Wests Tigers.

That is exactly what our board did to people this year.

I want leadership of our club that can set a direction and stick to it for more than 6 months. Our board is scarred from the accumulated mistakes over the past 10 years and is not second guessing its own decisions and flip flopping all over the place.

An organisation can not be successful once its leaders reach that point.

The leadership at our club then blew up the season with its inability to act as a professional organistaion.

I think it was a good call to remove sheens and co swiftly. The issue was they were there to begin with.
