Will Brooks play both sides or stick to the left for 90% of the game?

I'm hoping a young second rower will step up this year. I expect Thompson will hold his place and be on the left wing outside Jennings.

I still think Momirovski (centre) Jennings (wing) is slightly stronger than Jennings (centre) Thompson (wing).
Although there isn't much in it.
Also think Lawrence will start at left 2nd row but won't make all rounds and Garner will fill in.

I think you will find early in the season it will be pretty structured to see how the balance plays out

Once we know which side is more effective you will find out what side Brooks favours

A lot will depend on who our hooker is …..our point of attack will be far different if Liddle is hooker and will give Brooks more chances to attack either side of the ruck

And it will change from game to game ...every side has a side that is even slightly weaker than the other side of defence .. the key is then exposing that weakness at crucial times

Brooks running game is more effective on the left side as well .....being confident in both your running game and passing game is important as well

Madge had Marsters play Left side Centre with Rooster's Manu on the RIght. He also played Left side in the All Stars game. So maybe:

The two that would miss out IMO would be Fono and Thom with Marsters & Nofo on one side and Momo and Jennings on the other.

Marsters will create so much for Jennings with his little skip and committing his opposite winger and getting on his outside

U've got a point but Nofo would then need to bee paired with either Thomp, Momo or Foni and he needs to be paired with Fono (IMO) because they both big and strong.

Yeah you will pair him with Momirovski as he will help Nofoaluma make better decisions defensively as he is a stronger defender

I love Nofo's passion and all, but tbh I'd rather Thompson on the wing in his place. He is way more reliable in defence and attack and less prone to silly errors.

Unless there is a marked improvement in Nofo's defence this season, he really needs to be dropped. He's too much of a liability that we can't keep carrying onto the field just because he is passionate about the club.
