I dare say it's because Trent Robinson trusted his ability enough to throw him into one of the most important games of the season for the Roosters last year. A team that is choc full of talent, so that's a pretty big wrap.
If he'd just come over quietly and unknown from the Roosters lower ranks, without that debut in the finals, I'd doubt anyone would be thinking of him for first grade right now.
