Speaking of splitting down the middle - A Student, one B E was due to sit for a marketing Exam at the Uni of Western Sydney many years ago. The UWS was pretty new and no where as big as the established Sydney or NSW Unis. So maybe the rules of exams were a little less formal. The students filed into the exam room and one of the Invigilators (that's a fancy name for Exam Room monitor/Supervisor) noticed one B E on the attendance sheet. A keen Tigers fan, the invigilator approached the allocated seat for B E to wish him well and maybe pick up an autograph. The student B E was wearing a baseball cap quite tightly drawn down covering his face. "Hi Be…?" - oops! - it wasn't! Apparently a relative of B E got up and split down the middle with the speed of a reserve grade BDRLFC winger!

It's a good thing he's no longer a Director of our once great club!

How does one become a board member?
I'd be interested just to know what is REALLY going on but doubt I'd get far with my age/experience.
Would be great to have access to all the board meeting minutes…. especially from about mid last year.
Some things need to be transparent so people like Benny can't skew and use passion to lead the blind to their own needs and goals.

I did hear him on 2SM the other day and he did say 1 very important thing. This being the Wests aligned board member on the Wests Tigers board who is leaking stuff to Fairfax media (Roy) should be sacked from the Wests Tigers board immediately. I agree 100% with this.

Do you want Balmain back?

Surely a more diplomatic answer along the lines of ''Balmain will always be in my blood but the priority now is Wests Tigers and they are the future '' would be more appropriate. He sounds like just another dinosaur whinging on a forum.

He preaches for unity then in the same interview throws Wests under the bus without evidence and says he wants Balmain back. Wouldn't that kill Wests Tigers? 😕

Benny wasn't responding as a WT board member or club ambassador, he was responding as a player who devoted a large portion of his life to Balmain and spilt blood and guts for the club.

At least he is responding honestly to the question and not sugar coating it like most others would.

Can't ask for more than that.
