Leichhardt is standing on the hill with the glorious big trees as a backdrop. Lose either of those unique qualities and we might as well pack up and play out of Bankwest.
Homebush is a hole, it'd be best used as a dog-track. (Haven't seen what the proposed upgrades are though, it'd want to be a million times more appealing than it was as Telstra/ANZ).

I have to agree.....you can do heaps to the eastern (?) end where they put the commentators. You could add some form of grandstand there and join it with the latchem to add a fair few hundred seats there at least......and that's just my limited knowledge of building such things.....

I don't think the hill has to go. Adelaide Oval is one of the great sporting grounds and it still has a hill.

I would like to see the Grandstand extended around the Northern end and the Keith Barnes stand upgraded.

The hill at Adelaide only fits 3500 out of 50000 capacity though. The rest is a modern stadium. LO capacity is majority hill.
