Let me put this to you...

Had we made the eights, and perhaps won 1-2 games, would we have seen Sheens's departure and the player clean out? Or has missing the 8 being a (much needed) blessing in disguise for the club? The latter, for mine…

I think he should have taken up penrith offer at end of 2011 (even though we got to semis)

His used by date at WT was up.

I believe the castastrophic capitulation was needed to shift the board into action.

The culture was in need for change and that was laid out for all to see in the past few weeks

I don't doubt he'd still be in charge TH, but as you said foreveratiger, it's most likely a blessing in disguise. We needed this change.

Totally correct Smeg

Let me put this - If Robbie Farah plays every game in 2012 - Sheens would still be thier and none of this would of happened

Of course Sheens would still be in charge, but I'm fairly confident Heighington and Ayshford would also of left.

What no one saw coming was Beau's choice to walk away!

if farah had kicked that field goal, we wouldn't be in that mess.. right boonboon?

He might have got it if he hadn't fractured his hand trying to win us the game. Why do we even have him? Let's send him to Paramatta now..

I think that Heighington and possibly Beau would still have left, but Sheens would be fine and we'd have another year of mediocrity to look forward to. Definitely a blessing in disguise.

agree…blessing...although it was at the start of the year most could see the writing on the wall...such expectation, players out of position...and stubborn selections...hey at least our off season isn't spent twiddling our thumbs...there's plenty to talk about

Has beau or Chris signed anything official?

Very good question SG, I'm still waiting for a announcement from the sharks. It could end up a Motzgate.

Christ almighty he's moving to a club closer to his home for more money. You'd think he's being shipped out to Afghanistan the way he tells it…

Very true. And can you believe Cronulla for one minute. First there almost bankrupt, then they make the semis, on the back of signing players from everywhere, the trend continues for next season signing Lewis, Wright, Heino and Beau . You'd think they'd learn to save some penny's.
