In fairness to Hardaker, he is a fullback who was played on the wing and centre, would have liked to see him at fullback

I don’t think you need to assume Tui gets stuck in reserves. He was guilty of trying too hard yesterday and made error after error when we needed to hold the ball and kick to the corners. Put his team under pressure and they paid the price eventually. Ivan wouldn’t have been impressed as it’s exactly the type of play we are trying to move away from. I think heleta is a better option at 1\. I expect Thompson to put the issue beyond doubt today.

I think tui only got a run because of his goal kicking anyway.

For those who doubted the selection of Thomson to FB and Noffa onto the wing at the expense of Tui - I think yesterday's game, along with Tui's efforts in ISP, proved that the move was on the money.
As for Tui… he has to step up an earn his spot just like everyone else is, otherwise he'll be playing ISP all year.
