It doesnt matter what he has achieved so far as a coach.....while the club keep bringing in the boys club such as Benji,Farah,Morris and Hieno we will forever be losers...They were great players in their own right BUT have no coaching experience at NRL level for some years behind them...AND IT SHOWS IN THE PERFORMANCES....
Until Richo stands firm and gets a COACH AT THIS LEVEL WITH EXPERIENCE BEHIND HIM,we will keep playing the way we are...
Madge was to tough..Now origin coach...Flano was a peptide bloke now his team is playing great...Cleary knew what the club was like and got out,,,Now won numerous premierships...

So can anyone remind me why employing a rookie coach who was a playing icon for the club is going to get us to the top 8 in the next couple of years...????
 
Yiu said it Zigg.... Madge was too tough, sheens. Too old school despite decades of experience... They didn't work for whatever reason... We tried a different tack... Half a season into it and it ain't good
Our discipline and our mental approach is dirt.. We don't have the depth to deal with offenders by dropping them
I'm at a loss... I've no idea... But now not the time for sacking benji... Who would come here after seeing him - a rookie - get 6 or 8 months?

The mantra of "we have some great youg players" has been chanted since the dawn of time. IF they are any good (Tedesco, Moses) they don't hang around, for one reason or another. The rest remain an incomplete puzzle for ever.
 
Injury problems to players plus the suspension of players has killed us but my concern is we have no option but to bring in the young guys to get beat every week , probably makes them want to get out of the club as well .
no easy fix hear but I would grab Brad Arthur for attack coach , keep Morris on , move Robbie to front office . Benji is in a position now that would be a pressure cooker for him he needs help , we can’t score points ,

Clean out must be well under way by now , that list off thanks see ya should have at least 10 names on it .

Lobb was great in the air we just stopped sending high balls his way , Arthur to fix this , Alo the other winger was also good in the air , more time under good coaching he will improve , I think Alo is playing with injury as well .

Staines tried for His first game at centre but he is to lite , needs to start a new diet prior to off season and bulk up 5 / 10 kg he has the heart to do dirty hit ups just no weight and strength ., he had a crack in defence as well ,

Stef , needs to get his contract sorted , it could be his major problem right now , get it sorted get back to concentrating on footy , he has gone off his game .

Recruits = we have 2 top players coming but we need to get 3 more plus raid all the top teams reserve grade teams for back up our guns are way off yet and our reserves bar a few are poor ,

That’s not what we have all been saying so far this year.

Terrible discipline and execution, only effort was keeping it close. Once that is gone the big losses will keep coming

How long before player managers start knocking on Richos door complaining their guys aren't happy with the current coach. Like they did with Sheens. Once that happens Richo will pull the pin. Personally I'd be tapping Benji on the shoulder now telling him we have a new coach coming next year. Only prob would be Luai who said he was coming to play under Benji.

We have bula, Galvin, the finau brothers ..etc.. all signed up for years. The Penrith boys coming will do wonders for us.
 
The worst part is, there’s no one left for a feel good firing.

Naden will be a good start but won’t have the same joy a Pascoe , Hat , Brooks had.

Maybe get nofa back on a match payment contract and fire him after one game. Of the bench of course.
