I don't have an issue with them trying to eke out as much money as they can either, that's not my concern.

I have always supported players doing what is best for them, if you'll remember correctly I was one of the few who actually supported Tedesco last time. Even this time around he's been reasonable about most of the negotiations but isn't it high time now to put up or shut up? Sign here or sign somewhere else. If you're heart isn't here come out and say you won't be here next year. You'll never hear me bag his commitment on the field either because he still shows up every week.

Woods has been an embarrassment. I'll stop short of calling him a pea heart as some others have as you don't play for your state and country if you're a softcock, but he needs serious lessons in media management and engagement. He looks like a total wally with the way he's handled his negotiations. All of his woes could been circumvented with one simple sentence.

Players, coaches, admin all come and go. The fans are here from womb to tomb and are the club by extension so any time a player looks to slight their club they will react emotionally as most fans see themselves as the club.

If they are not happy, sign elsewhere and put the fans out of their misery. Let the club and the fans look toward life after them. They're not the only ones that aren't happy at the moment, the only saving grace for them compared to us mugs is that they get to choose how many zeros are at the end of their pay packet next season.

In an ideal world if the club wanted Cleary to replace JT they should have done it at the end of last season yes, but how could you justify sacking a coach that improved the teams position from last to one point out of the 8 over 2 seasons? My point is that regardless of the way it was done, the club does have to impose a deadline at some point, eventually there will be no one left to sign. I don't necessarily see it as shiftingnthe blame

Club knows that Woods and Tedesco are probably goners , but they know if it plays out like it is many fans will be furious with them , not the players

My advice for what it's worth Happy is to take a month off using this forum.

As Phil Gould said, we have not been winning with these guys. Last year was more a case of other teams being worse, not Tigers being better, back end of the season proved this. Time to move on and let them go and recruit new payers who want to be here.
