Was just mentioned on 2gb or 2ue that he (or a rugby player with a similar name, only just caught it) is close to signing with the Tigers.

Yea I heard this on triple m rush hour on Monday night a while ago and started a thread I asked a couple of boys at work and they said yea he is a really good player and good leader and would be a really good signing if tigers signed him

Lol Messam is not a boxer, theres that video of him on youtube fighting in a charity event. It was a one off

No it was not, he was asked in an interview if he was going back to boxing and he replied if Union allows me to i am.

I have a feeling we put talks with Messam on hold while we were waiting to see what happened with Lewis.
Now we've missed Lewis this signing may be back on. And he's a very classy player.
