With our three Origin players out. That's not a bad side. I'm not saying it's in the same class as the Bulldogs. But all things considered, Not bad either.
I did here a media person mention Simona may be used at fullback.
I know this is a view in the minority, but Id rather see the kids play the rep games, even at the expense of the NRL.
It is a big deal to represent your state or country even at age group level, I think it should be fostered and encouraged.
Last year 3 players (Nat Butcher, Robert Jennings and Jack Cogger) were withdrawn from the Aus Schoolboys cause they were 2 valuable to their clubs (there were no games being played at the time), I reckon that is rubbish.
If they have taken Liddle out of SOO so he can play NRL, I think it is wrong.

Totally agree they have plenty of time to make NRL debut but the opportunity to play in rep games are limited. Unless he makes it big in the NRL this could be his last chance to play rep footy

Brooks and moses only played 1 game each.
I was critical of Potter at the time for not letting Brooks play and although this is a very subjective thing, IMO it does matter.
He has played in this game before, but opportunities to play for state or country are rare, and should be IMO prioritised as such.

Interesting that Kev has been swapped over to the other side… so MCK can defend against the Morris twins?
Will look forward to seeing Liddle come on against some tiring dogs forwards - hope we can get some quick ruck happening for him!

I agree with the Pom's side. Can see it happening before moving Moses. And Barra, in case you didn't realise the numbers mean nothing. Nofo is listed at 2 every week yet has played every single game on the right wing. It will be JAC+ MCK and Kev+Nof on the right, just like it has been every other match.

honestly i wouldnt even mind noffa at fullback over simona. he displaced teddy for fullback in aussie schoolboys IIRC.
but, top preference is clearly rankin then naiqama then noffa.
not too big a fan of moses there since hes doing well at 6 and want him to play as much as possible with brooks in the halves. also we'd have to promote a pretty average half up
