Talk about outside backs relishing the move to fullback. Named players like Mullins, Minichiello, Inglis, Morris and even MacDougall himself who was sensational at fullback.

Without going over old ground of Lawrence at fullback, it really got me thinking that finding the right game breaker at one could really kickstart our year.

There are certain traits of Lawries game that wouldn't suit full-back. Mainly, catching bombs….I don't think he has any more of a clue than Moltzen on this one. Besides, there's the old adage of you don't weaken one position to strengthen another and in this case I know we have Reddy but imo Ayshford is ready for the move to lock given our current backrow injuries.

Sorry….I went over old ground!...lol...
Perhaps Beau Knows may be the man you're hoping for. The form he is in and Sheens love of Utai may see this move take place. Lote?......not sure, only one way to find out. Reddy? probably a reasonably safe bet...he's had a bit of experience there in the past , maybe he could make it his own.

I would give Lawrence a go at fullback. He played all his junior footy there has speed and knows who to follow. Why not can it get worst. Reddy to centre Moltz back to half can't hurt to try and you never know.Defensively pretty safe to?????

Now I could be wrong, but…

Lawrence looks to have crafted his body into a perfect centre/backrower figure, through years of fitness and weights. As a result I have my doubts that his cardio would be up to fullback.

Could be wrong though... GI for example.

I don't believe he has the motor to play fullback.

I don't know how we would be under the high ball but would be worth trying there. Moltzen doesn't want anything to do with them and he will get bombarded in the next few games and he will cost us.

I dont know about his earlier comments, but at the moment hes proving what a complete village idiot he is. McDougall and to a lesser extent Gasnier are very listenable when talking about structure and tactics, good additions to MNF

That is my thoughts as well.

I reckon he'd be dynamic at times, as McDougall has said he has built is frame to be a centre, he would be hard for him to cover the 13ish km that it is necessary for a fullback to cover these day
