He also had high praise for Jordan Rankin…I am sure many will now question Kain's suitability for the role...

I'm also not sure why the KPI's and PB's for speed gym work etc are such a closley gaurded secret...Interesting too they never test over the 100m distance..

Nothing on the plodders …...

When Jason Taylor first took over, he said WTs defence was priority number one. Employing two new defensive coaches for 2017, seems to suggest this is still the case. What happens if we are worse in defence than the last two years?

2 year contract extension so he has an opportunity to fix it.

Then another…..and another, ....and another :unamused:

I thought it was a bit disappointing - very little genuine insight, everyone seems to be doing really 'great'.

The only surprising information was that Liddle is up there with Moses and Tedesco in speed. Hopefully will add much needed spark from hooker.

He didn't mention it,but Josh Aloiai broke his jaw during last weeks beach session at Maroubra. Had plates inserted, should be right for Trials.

Surely someone must be "training the house down"????????
Precisely why these sort of things are basically a waste of time, it is all just fluff.

How did he manage that, during tackling drills or something?

Not surprising if you've ever seen him play…

Yeah his running style even reminds me of Cam Smith , his feet don't seem to get off the ground , almost scudding , but it is bloody effective

Over 20 he'd be quick , mark my words

Slipped on the sand during a tackle drill and collided with Ava

Im not interested in the club's fluff talk. I've heard enough of it for too long. Im not interested in hearing next year "We're constantly improving" or "Results doesnt matter". The club can have all it's facebook live chats they want. I couldnt care less anymore. All I care about now is results. Taylor has been given everything he has wanted from the board. If Taylor cant provide results, then he needs to go.

You nailed it Chris, I'm on the same wave length.
You can paint all the Roses you want but 2017 is make or break for Jason Taylor and the Club would be a fool for jumping the gun and signing him on an extension before Round 10 IMO.

P.S Chris…so glad you didn't play at full strength 2 Days ago you would of totally embarrassed us had you been at full strength . That Woodburn Lad can play gee his got one future ahead of him.

We should sign him up to 2 contracts then…...the one for $100k that we submit to the NRL and the $500k one with the free boats and stuff, that one gets hidden in Pascoe's shed. Too easy!

I'm with you 2 guys…I think they should close down their website twitter FB and insta accounts ...but then on the flip side you get the fans who [This word has been automatically removed] and moanthat the Club releases no information and treats us fans like mushrooms...fickle...

All is not lost though...Wests Tigers Forum will always be here for both sides of the fence to [This word has been automatically removed] and moan about it... :unamused:

Dam. I was hoping Aloiai was going to have a big pre season. Last year his stats weren't great. However he did look physically strong and I was hoping he'd improve with a Strong preseason. As 2nd row is our weakest position.

I wouldn't be too concerned about management jumping the gun and re-signing Taylor before he has proven himself in 2017\. Pascoe is a shrewd operator and he has gone on record a couple of times now stating that Taylor has to get the result if he wants a new contract. Everything (bar some marquee signings, which will come in 2018) has been really positive coming out of Tiger territory. I think we are in the best shape we have been, behind closed doors, since this club was formed in 1999.

He did well for the most part last year for a rookie. A broken jaw shouldn't hold him back for too long as far as doing the strength work goes, hopefully he has a few more mates this season in our pack that are willing to have a red hot go.

He broke his hand last year and played every game whilst teaching himself to carry the ball in his right hand,he usually carries it in the left. He'll be good for us next season.

Fair enough, but if he is playing on the right edge, surely he should be carrying in his right arm and palming the inside with his left anyhow.

Yes I have seen him play, but it was in reserve grade and u20s. Still wouldn't have thought he was up there with first grade players like Tedesco and Moses. I think he only played half an NRL game, but maybe he has played more and only you know about.
