LIVE game discussion. Tigers Team Vs Penrith - Trial#2

100%; that is what I pulled out of the analyisis I did overnight in the Deep Dive of the Week thread (https://weststigersforum.com/threads/wests-tigers-deep-dive-of-the-week.36357/post-2232698). Have a read and see if you agree with the assessmant or not.
Yeah im of the same opinion hes a future lock, though i dont think he could be put there consistently atm due to hid defensive defficencies. He would make a perfect ball playing link forward, would be a great foil for our halves if he worked on his passing game but more importantly his defence. Interesting to see how Benji juggles him this year.

Not a surprising outcome, the NRL always bases the decision on the injury that occurred. He wasn't taken off for a HIA, so he gets off.

Let him off.
It was accident amd it doesn’t help us with him missing games against other teams.
Thats not the point theres been dozens of "accidents" sent to the judiciary...and it rarely helps the team the offence was againt as they usually dont meet again for aome time.
Maka was hit in the head with clearys shoulder...end.of ...thats what the nrl.used.to seem to say
It wasnt the worst weve seen but this seems like more inconsistency imo
Had prior offences too iirc

When.penrith went to Vegas a year or 2 back i watch
ed a trial penrith v someone i think at LO....it was basically panthers reggies yet they.were a.carbon copy of the nrl side the way they played ...so similar.
Didnt see that last.night
I wonder if eventually enough clubs will pilfer the Penrith ranks that they finally run out of first grade-quality reserves.

These are the decisions where the NRL loses all credibility. 2 weeks was fair.

Absolutely wrong - how does a player standing 6' 3" get hit in the head from a no arm shoulder charge, knocked backwards on his arse and Cleary gets off with a @1,800 fine. Just another reason to believe that this whole thing is about making money and TV ratings for the NRL for the first game of the year, well part of the first round. We get screwed by the NRL non stop, we should be playing first round as we missed out on first round only 2-3 years ago - sorry about the rant, the year hasn't even started yet.... Lol
Maybe it's the red wine ........ hick up!

Im not surprised Cleary got off. Just grateful a Badger wasn’t reffing. Casey would have reviewed the footage and sent Maka off for attacking Cleary’s shoulder with his head.
