How we do even come back from this ?

They refuse to go to market and opt to just sit around & wait for a player, to maybe... become available.

We're losing a lot, mostly average players who don't impact our fortunes and have signed two legit guns - however our roster is still weak.

The club is like the man who goes out clubbing but is too shy to talk to girls yet whinges he doesn’t get laid.

Issue is mostly effort based (partly technique as well) and in a good side he will pick up his effort and attitude. However manly aren’t always that good a side and have a few that need attitude adjustments.

Mate I live 2500km away and up until 2020 I was a paying member.
I don’t go to games unless we make finals or play in Townsville.
These arseholes did not deserve a crowd today. If the club suffers financially, it may get the bloody message. Just having a team is not good enough. 20 failed seasons out of 23 attempts is rotten. 11 years in a row of failure is rotten. This club sucks and our teams each year are an embarrassment.

All good, but don't bag out the fans, mate. Here you are talking about the club, but earlier you said the fans are dumb, to which I said, like the fans are the problem.

Why would he be emotional? Where not asking to be champions. We are asked mg for individual players to play their heat out every game. This side doesn't.

Douhie needs to.learn to tackle. Every player om the field has something they aren't good at. Not sure why they aren't improving.

I've never left a movie, a play, even a kids school music performance before the end. But I left Leichhardt after 25 minutes. Could be for the last time. I have never seen a game as bad as that before. I've cancelled my 12 year members and frankly the lack of Tigers success, over 22 years, has put me off the whole game. I can't think of a sport that is as systemically uneven (and predictable) as NRL. The lack of a player draft, or even relegation and promotion system, means strong teams staying strong and the weak stay weak, and the NRL likes it like that. Apologies for the disappointed rant.

I get you but isn’t the issue we are just masochistic Tiger lovers and it doesn’t matter how many times we are cheated on we forgive and forget.
Guess all we can do is focus on Round 1 2023 and hope that there is better days ahead.
This horrible season now officially closed.

The weak clubs are weak by their own hand. They don’t have to remain where they are. Look at Cowboys and Broncs this year. Dogs are on the rise as are potentially the Titans. Perennial cellar dwellers like us, Newie and Warriors are the shame of the code.
