I also thought we did much better with fewer stoppages. We're definitely fitter and play better with less disruption. I think there was only 2 or 3 penalties in the first half. Maybe they whispered in Gee's ear that he's been a bit hard on the pea.

What a difference it makes when you get a fair shake of the decisions. I've never seen a game where so much has gone in our favour. Every bounce of the ball was black and gold.

I go back to watching them from 1950 (Balmain and Wests Tigers) - I am sure it would be the same for Old Wests supporters as well.

Never in all that time (70 years) has just about everything gone our way.

To just think, some teams get that nearly every week.

I’ve just watched it again and that play by Isaako on Benji’s 40/20 might be the single worst effort of the year.
1. He let the ball bounce out before attempting to batt it back in
2. His foot was a metre out so even if the ball didn’t bounce out it still would have been a 40/20
3. He batted it forward so it still would have been a knock on

After watching again on top of defense the control of possession in what looked like tricky conditions was most impressive 17 from 19 at one point in the first half and the only 2 errors came on the Donks line with Walters losing the ball once on the second tackle and Grant another time..

We then backed up and forced errors on the Donks in each of the subsequent sets..

Seeing our boys score their first NRL try is one of my favourite things ever, Walters and McIntyre deserved it.

McIntyre has been impressive in his rookie season.

Apart from his obvious strengths, one of the things I've noticed is his "on the ball" play. He was on the spot when Holland dropped a bomb to pick it up and put Talau over in the corner. Last night he won the race for the ball to score.

He has already become a valuable member of our pack.

I know, right.

He's pulled up Nofa 3 times in 2 games for not playing the ball on the mark, but allows Nofa to play the ball from the same spot or a metre in front of where he did play it! Lol

Love reading the live game thread after a win!!
Great being at Leichhardt tonight - awesome victory and most complete performance I can remember for a long time. Packer was brilliant especially first 25 minutes. So was Aloiai.
I haven’t heard fox or 9 commentary but I will add that in the 30 minutes from Leichhardt to home after the game 2GB did not say one positive thing about the Tigers. Not one. Best part of tonight - zero points against. Also, amazing what happens when you cut out the unforced errors.
So now pleeeaassee Tigers: follow this up with another clinical performance next week.

Channel nine were no better. All about how had the broncos were. It should have been a celebration of the tigers keeping a team to zero for the first time since 2012 while scoring 48. Our forwards monstered them and they give the MAN of the match to Payne hass, that says it all.

Yep. Again gawd knows what he was doing there. It wasn’t the greatest bounce but he just seemed like a bloke who had never seen a football before. We were really gifted some tries last night.

I said it about him a few weeks ago, that when we played the Dragons before this season, he was the guy I was worried about. Someone I know said to me BJ was a great signing, I said Luciano is better.

Another great signing, 1 who's contract size I was sceptical about was Adam Doueihi. He has been more than solid & the Bunnies are backloading quite a bit of that contract.

Yep Luciano is fast becoming one of my faves always seems to bend the line, works hard in defence, enthusiastic. Every time you see him you know he is enjoying playing
