Work colleague broke the news on the day Maguire signed. I asked him what his thoughts were and his answer not the coach for the style of football played by WTs. Johns just mentioned it then. The bloke that gave me the news coached in the lower grades.

I think that's why the club brought him in and that's why he's recruited a team that can play his style of footy. And this is the result...

Sorry to mention the infidel's name but the difference in organisation and commitment between us under Cleary and Maguire is stark. That's what good and bad coaching produces.

I just touched on the way Maguire addresses the dressing room prior to the start of the game. Cleary sits in a relaxed non aggressive position. I find the difference very interesting.

I've just been checking the stats on the NRL website and I know that we didn't have much ball but during their first stints, out of 10 set (56 runs) Tamou had 3 runs for 15m in 28 minutes and Twal had 4 runs for 15m. 7 runs between them out of 56.

Aren't our starting props meant to be setting a platform and doing some hard yards? One run every 2/3 sets is absolutey pathetic.

We don't have enough players who want to do the dirty work when the going gets tough.

Never seen Twal do so little. That's a very bad sign.

If we get pumped here again which is looking highly likely i dont see how Madge survives, id be happy to bin all the players but you just cant do that so the buck stops with him. This defensive structure he's put out is diabolical its like under 8's seriously. At least give another coach some money to work with its clear for us Madge isnt the guy to get these players going, in saying that i dont know who is.
