I’m glad we put our big boy pants on in the second half and made an effort, but a loss is a loss. Whether it’s by 4 points or by 40,... especially against the worst team in the comp.

As far as I’m concerned Madge needs to go. He’s not a players coach, he doesn’t seem to understand what our weaknesses and strengths are, how to minimise them in defence and how to accentuate them in attack.

So far on his watch he has signed, re-signed or let go -

Robert Jennings - Flop
Billy Walters - Flop
Joey Leilua - Flop
James Roberts - Flop so far
Joe Ofahengaue (avg run metres 90) - Flop so far
James Tamou (avg run metres 84) - Flop, another retirement package
Asu Kepaoa - Flop
Luke Brooks (resigned for 4 years) - Flop
Luke Garner (resigned for 2 years) - Flop
David Nofoaluma (resigned for 4 years) - Criminal
Paul Momorovski (released, we could have waited for Laurie) - Criminal
Benji Marshall (released) - Our attack doesn’t look much better and our defence is worse
Adam Doueihi - The jury is still out
Stefano Utoikamanu - The jury is still out
Shawn Blore - The jury is still out
Zane Musgrove - Decent but his character is questionable
Luciano Leilua - Decent
Daine Laurie - Excellent but it’s still early days

So that’s one excellent signing, however we could have waited for Daine. Playing with a team that doesn’t appear to have any pride in the jumper has to be demoralising.

For anyone that says Madge needs time to build the team he wants, that’s rubbish. Two years is more than enough time to build a foundation, develop strategies and at least start to grow a winning culture.

Since he’s been at WT we’ve gone backwards.

So reviewing their tries:

1. Their centre gets a touch of space and makes Nofa look like my grandma with arthritis. Easily kicks past Laurie who does a decent job of trying to stop the grounding.

2. Offload in a 3 man tackle. Jimmy holds position, Nofa charges up, kick behind, easy try.

3. Drinkwater has zero support so being the last puts in a speculative kick. Still manages to easily be first to the ball.

4. Simple crash over try. Joe O doesn’t aim up.

5. Nofa displays zero commitment. Meekly allows them first dibs on an easy bomb under pressure.

6. Talau not even close to catching a bomb but come on, it’s 10m out from the line and the cover defence is non-existent.

So a grand total of 0 of their points came from set plays or great attack. Everything was poor scramble, a lack of commitment and/or confidence and bad communication.

Post match press conference just finished...Madge visibly and emotionally upset. Didn't elaborate on a lot of questions - questioned the players attitude - particularly defence - said the players need to find their shoulders. Unacceptable to drop heads when the bunker disallowed the try and then concede one straight away.

Said he'll look at reggies players, says he'll question the players attitudes on why they can't defend. Clearly not putting into game day what they do at training and he's at a loss to explain why.

I really really do feel for the bloke. Not saying he's not at fault for some of it but he genuinely just doesn't seem to understand what's going wrong

We need an elite coach to do a review on our entire system.

Dont feel bad mate. Guaranteed result. Sunday afternoon. Sold out Leichhardt. Crap opposition. A genuine reason to play and pay respect to one of the all time greatest.

As far as Im concerned, thats the worst game ive ever seen in those circumstances, possibly in any circumstances. Whilst im a paid member for the year, it will be my last. That performamce showed a gutless bunch of so and so's. Every single one of them. Heartless, disrespectulf grubs. The score is irrelevant, win lose or draw today. I only wanted to see self respect and respect for a great. I got neither.

Sums up how I’m feeling. Seriously thinking of sending back my membership pack for this year.

Well my boo’s were 100% for the playing squad and so were the boo’s and expletives from those around me in the stand. Totally deserved.

I could say a lot of things about forward passes, Bunker stuffing up the game, 12 point turn arounds, lack of mental toughness and so on, but I'll just say the one and only thing that really needs to be said right now and that is:

"Sorry Tommy, we are just an awful football team."

When Tommy played they had REAL leaders playing with real heart, calling the shots and really encouraging their team mates. No longer exists with this Wests Tigers team. $$$ overcomes pride.

What he made the changes to the side after initial selections?

We are way off the pace,teams like Penrith and South's,Melbourne,will tear us apart,I was a fan of Maguire but now I'm having my doubts,the release of Corey Thompson last year and letting Momirovski go this year we're his two biggest mistakes. We need defensive minded players firstly, J Leilua,Nofoaluma are terrible defensively,Roberts isn't the best either. Ofahengauhe was a rushed decision to try and save face for the loss of Aloiai,this team needs a total rebuild. Other than douehi,Stefano,Mikaele,Liddle,and Luciano these are the only guys putting in,that look like they want to win

Didn't mean to offend mate. I've been giving feedback on the clubs performances on here for a lot of years now. It's gets shouted down so I'm sort of over taking it serious anymore.
