I had always hoped that Prince would do that - come back to play alongside Benji again after a few years at the Titans. Reckon it could’ve been great for us, but we’ll never know. Some halves partnerships are just meant to be.

We need to settle down a bit - you can't get carried away with a win like that but you also have to understand the situation this team is in. We are such a young squad and have some potent players in Stefano, AD, Blore, Luciano, Simpkin, Simpkins and Tuilagi.

That doesn't change the fact they have close to no good leadership out there. When the tough gets going, your experienced leaders are meant to drive the standards. Who is out there doing that? We have maybe 1 or 2 out there with decent experience and even with Tamou it is not enough. You need people who have been there done that to help get the young ones through.

If we manage to scrape the finals, great. I personally don't expect to make it with this current squad. There is just not enough leadership or enough mentally strong players. I really wish we got Dale F over the line. I do think Maguire's current approach might be too demanding on such a young squad although I think he is trying to lift the standards of this club as a whole in doing so.

Just enjoy then win.The young blokes did OK.

I am all for winning games - whichever way we can. I just wish I didn't have to have palpitations until the 80th minute..Had the cows played with the same intensity they did in the last 15m, we would have been talking cricket season already.. I do wonder why youth wasn't injected earlier, lot of other clubs have done, it has taken up to desperation point to try it ourselves..

I thought Simpkin added something at a time when usually we are struggling in a game. It is a better option for us to run with him on the bench.

We need two hookers. We also can't run Tamou and Twal as our starting props.

Stef, Simpkin and Simpkins, Blore, Tuilagi have a lot of potential. AD and Luc are good. Talau if he can start playing consistent footy and work on his defense might come good at some point.

At a pinch either Liddle or Simpkin could play in the backrow if it became necessary in a game both solid defenders

He’s the big name signing everyone including the media seem to forget. He’s probably the first winger picked for NZ.

There were a few moments that mattered in this game. Nofo took a couple of high balls which could have been very dangerous, AD made a cracking ankle tackle on someone who was going to stroll over. Then at the death there was Brooks' last ditch effort to hold the guy up over the line - that was a great tackle. There was also a strip by Lucy which stopped their momentum when attacking.

Finally, a big wrap for AD for his goal kicking - we'd probably have lost this game last year on kicking alone.

I honestly think we need too move Luch back into the prop rotation and persist with blore and tuilagi in the second row. Obviously once they’re both upto scratch fitnesswise. Blore seems to be handling it well but with the limited game time tuilagi has had due to no KOE could still be abit off yet. Next year an 11 12 13 of tuilagi blore and simpkins with j simpkin in the 9 will be promising in my opinion !! Luchs defence on the edge just doesn’t cut it and I think tuilagi will work a lot better (just my opinion of course)
