Was tough to watch at times but a wins and win.

Less handling errors and fix up a few miss kicks from our halves which resulted in 7 tackle sets and we would have won by a lot more.

Cronulla will be a tougher match for us, we'll need to lift for it.

Tuilagi slowly coming into his own. Really straightens our attack and he runs really nice lines and scored a good try.

Maumalo improving every week. If he can keep this up he'll end up being a very good signing, such a big boost having a winger like him to start sets off by breaking tackles. He's also a great finisher and aerial threat

**Doueihi improves on his last two weeks with an excellent performance. One poor kick but besides that he was really good**

Stefano will be playing origin soon enough. What a superstar!

Tuki will be an excellent player when he trims down and speeds up a bit. Like his offloads and he runs straight and hard

Jake Simpkin excellent in his stint. Really engaged markers, got our forwards rolling and provided good service especially for the Talau try.

Talau becoming a really good attacking player - there's a good player in there. Needs to work on the simple stuff but he can score a try

Haven't really seen it mentioned, whilst Brooks was superb in defence both Doueihi and Twal also made some crucial tackles.
Twal would've surely topped the tackle count, (not surprising though) noticed him involved a lot more than usual.

46 tackles, 0 missed from Twal. Also 133 run metres, he's ever consistent. Doueihi defence certainly looked better too

The whole team was not to bad tonight with missed tackles.. The backs had the most but it was like only 14 total for the game. Just needed to fix up the handling errors

I noticed that too. That’s the type of stat that if we can maintain we give ourselves a really good chance. Can’t remember the last game where we only missed 14 tackles

Stef, Blore, AD, Laurie and Simpkin are the future of the club. We need to hang on to all of them.

All of those players are on long contracts with us, so as long as we don’t have a Matterson/Aloiai off season blow up we should keep them all.

it seems our pack is getting a strong nucleus. Hopefully they are all mates off the field too

Whilst on the topic of live game feeds is anybody watching Manly dismantle Parramatta. I quickly went on to a Parra fan site and they are going beserk! Made me laugh so much. Matterson sent off, Moses hopeless. Parra putrid. Their fans would have thought they could win the comp at the start of the year. I reckon we'll win another comp before them.

as much as his detractors might hate it, brooks is one of our best defenders....he has improved immensely in this part of his game, unfortunately at the detriment of other parts

I just think if we don't have these silly errors we win by 30+ and it all comes back to adding a few key players that know how to lead these young guys... I do like the fact that we played through it and still got the win unlike past games as that's great development for there mindset.

Unfortunately I didnt see the game as I had to close the club at 5 due to the lockdown...

However just reading through this thread we had a win which to me is great,the young guys got a run and some did well and others are still learning....

I did notice the Madge haters had their usual input and cant give credit where its due in regard the young guys developing got NRL time while the other teams cant play...koe,flegg etc...

Madge will eventually get this team in the finals with a good squad of young players...his main aim has been to get rid of the bad culture we had and develop young skillful talented players...we are on our way..

congrats to the team and coach for getting the 2 points ...well done...

TT, he's only been here three years and the standard of our play is a disgrace.

I’m long patches we looked good and the was a clear plan to what we were doing. We couldn’t keep it up for 80 but you can see the coaching there

I think your wrong Oz...if you look at the game from outside and watch closely,Mbye has now 2 weeks in a row given great passes to Ken M to score,great vision and passing by Moses...but the haters and un educated in NRL will see otherwise...that try started setting the platform for the win....Cini is still NRL raw but will overtime learn his trade...
