On paper we have a competitive side, we just don’t have an attacking game plan or any answers when it comes to sustained defence.

Well he was Dally M halfback of the year in...........nah I cant do it.

Ive been a long time fan of Brooksy but Its at the point now it is hard to justify.

Yes, Brooks kicked the balk dead twice, Doueihi kicked it too long once and so did Keary as well.
The way we played again today had little to do with those kicks. It’s all about our poor D. There is a lack of intent and line speed, and with a few, there’s a total lack of effort.
For years we have been standing flat footed waiting for the opposition to come to us allowing them to gain a roll on and allowing their halves to have too much space. Standing off Keary all day is just suicide - it’s exactly what he looks for.
Until we fix our D we wont ever look decent in attack.

Yep. Another year without line speed. It does my head in.
Also, how is it that every opposition run hits the line and surges forward, yet our guys hit the line and stop or get pushed back or flipped on their back? We just look so weak. Also does my head in.
I'm just telling myself we've played premiership contenders 2weeks in a row and not every week will be like this. It's easy to hate our draw, but we have compete every week regardless of the opposition.

Mybe is useless agreed with other comments, but AD is also too slow for fullback but good under high ball.
Would give some time for AD to play 5/8 only 1st game.

well he played well at 6 last game 2020 and in the trial.
Feel the hype was justified.
1st game he may find his feet (hopefully, or we are guaranteed the spoon)
