Yes, Brooks kicked the balk dead twice, Doueihi kicked it too long once and so did Keary as well.
The way we played again today had little to do with those kicks. It’s all about our poor D. There is a lack of intent and line speed, and with a few, there’s a total lack of effort.
For years we have been standing flat footed waiting for the opposition to come to us allowing them to gain a roll on and allowing their halves to have too much space. Standing off Keary all day is just suicide - it’s exactly what he looks for.
Until we fix our D we wont ever look decent in attack.

I think as supporters we expected better but in reality think the analysis have it correct are we a Top 8 team this season after 2 rounds - NO

Today playing against a team that was down on Troops they still slaughtered us.
Our 2nd half again not great means we just don't have the Bench players to compliment the squad.

Brooks - Again another poor effort as play maker (Its suppose to be your team as we have been told) think long term the club will sign Hastings from super league...

Mybe - In effective off the bench, grabbing at air one try late.

AD - Did not rate his performance in the halves, what did he actually do all game?

In reality also have to start holding the coach to account, know we have extended his contract but seriously if there are not changes in key positions he can't coach.

I think you overrated B Leilua.

If we don't play simpkin and simpkins next week I would ? Madges position
Liddle gets targeted in defence and that causes him to lose his attacking ability
We need a fresh DH to cause some havoc

Simpkins needs to be thrown in the deep end
We need to blood him so our forward pack grows

Bj needs to be let go at the end of the year
He is done
I would also throw Gebbie in there in the next few weeks
He will offer more in attack and can't do any worse in defence
It's his speed we need

We need to seriously start looking at a replacement for Brooks
He just doesn't have it

We could see Kerry's pace to get outside his man just killed us
I hope Gebbie and Fitzgibbon can both eventually make our starting side

Nof has gone backwards since re-signing!! Kepoa is not proving hes worth the money we spend on him and bj has done nothing in 2 weeks other then smash lam! Something has gotta give and give quick

If Mcguire doesn't swing the axe this week then HE needs to be axed.

I really dont know what else the club can do at. There's not enough quality in reserves to fix our problem but we have lots of young kids. I think if we give a few of them a crack they will at least try to have a crack ay. Yeh madge its q funny one he cant control what the players do on the field and can only give them a game plan, but he can make an example of a few I guess. We just seem to have nothing threatening in attack either and defensively they dont know how to slide as a unit. Its beyond an embarrassment tbh. Still love me tigers but God it's getting hard

What really sucks about all this is that Moses and Tedesco have been vindicated in their move to other clubs as they go onto success after success while the junior team that they unceremoniously dumped on still wades around in the crap. There is no such thing as karma for Wests Tigers.

Maguire has to kick some ass this coming week in training and selections. Time to look beyond the existing 17- I'd say 5 or 6 of them are in danger. Would still be searching for a replacement half if they have no confidence in Madden stepping up at his stage of events.

I would rather watch Madden make mistakes and grow into the game than watch Brooks again

Although it wont happen - Brooks is not our answer to playing finals gave him leeway last season after two games this year i don't rate him, his kicking game on our home ground in the wet convinces me he is not up to standards.

- The boys are training well and working for each other
- Theres positive signs we are on the right track, just need to knuckle down
