One out plays up the middle all night, and playing Douehi and Twal who were both injured as others have said. He's taken a razzle-dazzle team and regimented them like his own private army - that's brilliant in one respect because it's fixed our defence, but it doesn't work in attack when the team should be let loose to chuck the ball around and do what they do best. They have become predictable, and that's probably one of the reasons that Souths moved Madge on.


Good observation they were predictable tonight.
However the intensity was lacking.
As one forum member said a few weeks ago after the Broncos game should we extend Madge's contract, most forum members said lets make the 8 then we can look at it, see what's happened with the Broncos 5 year deal.
Like Madge but don't think he has performed again this season, has one more year to run on his contract if was to extend only a 2 year deal with making the 8 both seasons.

I actually like Madge and wouldn't want to see him replaced after his efforts so far - I just feel he should lay off treating the guys like children that need to be scolded, and let them play to their strengths. Brooks for one has been stifled and no longer knows what he is supposed to do or which way is up.

Then when it was put to him that he was filthy after the Titans game so this one must have upset him he had to restrain himself in his response. My question is: when is the playing group at the WT going to accept that this rubbish isn’t acceptable?

Brooks well even prior to Madge has not performed..
As other forum members will note i have defended him but tonight was his game to shine and did not step up....
Brooks is part of the problem we are not a Top 8 team, nil direction.
Pity we signed him on a long term deal....

Have a look at your bench coach! Maybe a better coaching performance might help as well ..honestly just more talk !! If he was serious the captaincy should be taken of Mbye tomorrow and given to someone with some pride and heart !

I’m with you mike but we have a good track record of turning the playing group over with more lemons for the same results.

Brooks hasn't been the entire problem but he's been a constant in too many losing years for anyone to mount a defence for him. He has all the skills but isn't dominant and hasn't grown with the game.

Just piss the rubbish cancerous players off for good. I don't care what they're earning and I don't care where they go. Piss them off to park footy land. How is that we just can't play consistent football, cant kick for goal and can't beat down and out teams. It's so bloody frustrating. What is it with this club, I'm sure Madge is asking himself this question tonight.
