man, i live this great life full of happiness and positivity the only negative is this sporting team and it does me in nearly every week.

Yeah but you know what. As good as 05 was, the joy didn’t overrule all the pain I’d felt in the many years of garbage previously.

One of my mates is a huge dragons fan and I was at the 2010 GF with him. Later that night after many beers and analysing the victory he said “is that it?”.

Hate to say it, but ***even if we do eventually get good***. It doesn’t undo all the pain we’ve gone through from nights like tonight.

I’m just giving you my truth. I will say if I had the beauty of hindsight I would say that the journey is the good part. The 05 regular season was heavenly in hindsight. But it was never exp expected to go any further.

Brooks is a disaster. Opposition down a man for 20 mins. Where was he. Its His responsibility to ice the game. No confidence what so ever . He was happy to take the 2 points. Any other half back would of demanded we play footy... we won't make the 8 with brooks at 7....

Often Have a Go has turned out to be a much better player than I thought he was at Brisbane.

I reckon it might've been twals best game for us. He made massive metres every run offloaded defended well he was excellent. Some people don't seem to like him because he doesn't run people over but he's a gun

Id like to see him look for the offload more, sometimes just feel he has perfect opportunities and doesnt pass it (could be instructed)
Would really shape him up as a very high quality prop

In fact we should be looking for offloads alot more, we look a different team when we get a few away

Correct, absolutely correct except they have no body to offload to as they have no support players .. Mbye and Brooks are always waiting for the next play and never position themselves to burst onto the ball in support, they are so pedestrian it is not funny.. the only thing they do try is when they pretend they might be receiving the ball and overrun the play and get in the way of the actual ball carrier and only confuse their own attack, it is extremely ordinary and frustrating to witness .. they seem to have no desire to make a break and absolutely no confidence that they can beat the defence ..... it really is appalling

So close. Really should have scored on the death - bombed it. However the whole game changed with the forward pass from Mbye to Blore. We lost control at that moment.

We let in 2 tries against 12 players, and scored none

They played 1/4 of the game with 12 men.

And we played the whole game with 3 handicapped idiots. (Apologies to those with disabilities.)

The kick on the third (just prior to half-time), the handling errors and forward pass in the second half were momentum killers.
No one does it better than us.
Agree with others though that taking the penalty goal twice with only 12 men on the field was the most stupid thing ever.
Oh and our edge defence is still total crap!!

I have been saying all year,TT is not 1st gde standard, go through the games ,he costs us at least a try a game. The backline is atrocious. Laurie tries hard, but not there yet. Nouffa overated, JL must go! Variation in the halves is needed, not AD , he is a centre, bring in Madden.

He’s talked about the same issues every week for the past 2.5 years and hasn’t fixed any of them. In fact they’re all worse. He may as well have a cardboard cutout of himself with a tape player strapped to it with the same tape playing every week.
