Excellent through the middle and still shipped 6 tries. We really need some quality on our edges and a master defensive coach

Twal was huge. Still copped a bagging on here though.
Often Have a Go has turned out to be a much better player than I thought he was at Brisbane.

The problem is there is to many like him in the pack there is no balance

We do need someone to break the line - no argument there but the others are coming along. There is a dawn coming - just not sure when.

Mate until we can get a hooker playmaker is doesn't matter if he plays at 6 or anywhere else.


Simpkins was very poor when he came on. He was only there for 20-30 mins and he was struggling to get to DH.

Should've stuck with Jock on the bench. He probably wouldn't have done any better, but Simpkin is just a waste of an interchange.


Ive been really disappointed. I bought into the hype. Liddle was rubbish rd 1-5 and I was all for giving Simpkin a run. First couple of games he was OK. Been rubbish since.

We do NOT have a star 9 going forward. Its a problem.

I reckon it might've been twals best game for us. He made massive metres every run offloaded defended well he was excellent. Some people don't seem to like him because he doesn't run people over but he's a gun

Id like to see him look for the offload more, sometimes just feel he has perfect opportunities and doesnt pass it (could be instructed)
Would really shape him up as a very high quality prop

In fact we should be looking for offloads alot more, we look a different team when we get a few away

Yes, the coach did. But who else could he call on? As I said in ampther post, players aren't made in China and you cn't replace them overnight.

He’s been here for 2.5 years he’s signed no wingers but extended a flog like Nofo for 4 more years

Same problems as per usual. Lack of class/consistency in our backs. Forwards getting close to what we need, spine is improving. Just useless wingers and centre's. TBH the season is done - want to see Douiehi back in 6 and Talau right centre, Blore playing on an edge and Stefano back in the side. That group of young'uns can take us places - leave them there for the rest of the year.

So lack of talk cost us that game? Not repeated drop balls from Talau, of Nofo turning a 3 on 3 into a 3 on 1, or poor defence....it was that our halves are too quiet.......wow. you guys are really rusted on no matter what.

You can blame whoever you want.
When you are playing against less men you should get home.

We only had 6 players who played to an NRL standard tonight down from 8 last week..

Imagine if just 10 did for 80 mins in a game what we could do..

We only had 6 players who played to an NRL standard tonight down from 8 last week..

Imagine if just 10 did for 80 mins in a game what we could do..

Get lapped by 40 v the Cleary's ...Ivan would feel too sorry for us all to even blow a kiss

There was a lot of good performers there tonight but unfortunately there is some very average performers as well ,honestly there about 6 players away from a good competitive side .
