I don't think we should be too hard on Reynolds. He laid on the first try, gave a lovely pass to Doueihi to create the space for the second, cleaned up a loose ball and gave it to Nofo to start the third and put in the kick for the fifth before half time. That's not a bad half.

Tigers fans are a weird mob, they only remember the bad things people do in games and forget the good. Same with Mbye, had a blinder in the first half but people only remember a less stellar second half playing out of position.

I not a huth fan thought he was solid. McIntyre did well. Mbye was brilliant at centre horrible at wing. Reynolds defense and presence in lifting the line speed was amazing imo he did little to nothing in attack.
Harry Grant is a stud but i feel like he overplayed his hand a bit.
Lucy is doing the dirty work and has put the other stuff away making him solid.
Brooks was decent loved that he ran early. The middle Really struggled with the loss of twal.
And jennings was playing really well

Agree with this assessment.
We played well until that intercept and injuries and lack of possession and penalties went all Cowboys way.
Better performance but lots stil to work on particularly consistency and the knowhow to close the game down.
Ending the game on back foot means that there will be no complacency next week.
We just need to keep the burn going for full 80.
Madge ant the coaching team must get that into them.
It’s the only way forward.

I think the bat will come out this week...Madge said he wants them to play for 80...I know the injuries didn't help,but there were some lapses in concentration that shouldn't have happened..
I wonder if Madge prefers wooden or aluminium bats,he needs something hard wearing I think...

Why do we suck so hard the second half. I’d play Reynolds the first half and benji the second.


Reynolds goes missing the second half and can’t believe that kick in the second tackle but so much pressure on us.

I actually thought he was pretty weak all game, give good line speed but seems to lack direction.

It was a bit of a weird game, even the first half we were scoring before we were able to build anything. The Cowboys defense in the first half was some of the worst I have ever seen.

Reynolds was poor all game

It was a little too easy in attack - the Cows were really dreadful in the first half. For me the valuable take away was the intent the team showed in that first 40. We defended solidly, ran hard and played the game at a good aggressive pace. In the second half, we certainly dropped our intensity and let the Cows in - which was pretty disappointing - again allowing an average team to score 20 points against us.

I thought Reynolds had a poor game - sure he was enthusiastic but I expect that from him, he made some poor choices and a few critical mistakes. He kicked badly and rushed up out of the defensive line all night leaving huge gaps that the Cowboys weren't good enough to exploit but a better team certainly would have. I am not convinced on him and would like to see Benji on the bench as an option, especially now that Twal and Musgrove may be out.

It was a strange game when you look at the fact thst possession most of the game favoured the cowboys. I'm happy for the win, but we need to make sure our possession stats are better as this will be key when we take on better sides.
